You were so close to the iconic lucky tea which was once owned by a malayali. It was frequented by the famous painter MS Hussain and still has a painting gifted by him. For non veg akbari, zk etc are best though the area may not be clean. Manekchowk was just 500 meters away which is a foodies delight which was missed. Also try the thali from Athithi, gwalbhog Or any of the thali restaurants.

@@afeef101 I am in a Hindu dominated area and there is no pork here bcs the butchers are from Muslim Community. As I am least bothered about meat thats not an issue for me. I am not blaming some one, just stating the reasons. In Kerala you would not open a non veg restautant close to a temple. There is no law prohibiting one from doing so, but most would not do that. Thats mutual respect, something getting scarce during this times. Cow is sacred to Hindus especially North Indian Hindus. Why cant the other communities and the so called progressive people just accept this and move on. Beef is available in special areas in North India from time immemorial. Those who wants to consume it can go there and do it.
