He (May Allah be please with him) was clearly beaten and killed by Banu Ummaiya because of the book (Khasaias e Amir al Mominin) he wrote that you conveniently forgot to mention. Is it right that imam nisai was against muawiyah r. A because he says there is no sahee hadees about him
Ibn taymiyah RH said the same thing, as did many other scholars. However Ibn taymiyah RH also said some hadiths were made up to elevate Ali RA.

I don't think he mentioned the word prophet. Ive listened to it a few times no word of prophet was mentioned.
