Back when child actors on soaps actually acted rather than just stood in shot and are spoken about. I think April is the only one these days to have proper dialogue. Kyle's spoken maybe twice? I loved the Typewriter. What I love about UK Soaps is that the Kids actually grow up. In the US they have SORAS (Soap Opera Rapid Aging Syndrome). The Child is sent away to Boarding School then comes back all grown up by at least 10 Years. Sometimes they can't find a proper Actor to play a part so they are mentioned from time to time. For example on As The World Turns 1956-2010 Chris Hughes then played by Christian Siefert was let go and then for almost a Year it was "Chris is at camp, at a Friend's House, at Baseball practice, etc." They had at least Five Actors that cam after him where he played a Doctor, it was hilarious.
Kind of sad that it's arguably quite realistic that a character who was such a sassy and bold child has seemingly lost her spark in adulthood. I guess it's that Belle has been through a lot. You can really hear it in her voice and overall demeanor: like she has the 'weight of the world' on her shoulders.
