It is hard to buy and sell whilst holding down a full time job but it's a sort of hobby and addiction isn't it but making money is what it's all about helps with extras for the family holidays paying bills etc and it sure is getting harder here in the midlands too charity shops are like resellers now car boots are the way around here too

Lmao mate I definitely know what you mean about the reselling addiction, I'm getting over a crack and heroin addiction and now this is getting over that addiction and onto this addiction! Lol sorry not family friendly, I have to go out at least twice a week, found fireman Sam complete boxset today and only two have sold, one for £50 and the other for £70 which was in acceptible condition and I paid 20p! PEACE 🤜
Don’t think I’ve ever seen Fireman Sam on dvd I’ll have to keep an eye out. Yeah I found it really hard to not buy some. I’m there looking at them all while my partner and kids just sort of look on. So I was just like nah don’t do it but was hard to just leave them all. Crazy the amount of them there was and how they were sat there for hours with no takers. That’s good it got there in the end. Tbh in the end now it being Christmas Eve and all I’ve not had too many issues. Although I did stick 10 day dispatch on early, about 2 weeks ago, just to limit issues with late deliveries although it will have hurt my sales a bit. People have still been buying though and not chasing me hardly at all. Most people know what the score is and are okay. Merry Christmas 🎄

Yes, the electric is, the acoustic is nothing special really but was given it a long time ago so will always keep it I think. I’m not really a Musician or anything, I try now and again. Struggle for time these days. Hope you have a great Christmas. Thanks for watching 🙂🎄
Some buyers hey bleddy rude , Amazes me how many of them don't read the description and see pics . I agreed a price the other day for an item £28 the buyer then started chucking a counter offer of £27.75 back and then moaned about the price after when i rejected it lol . We've all had em i can only afford that amount then telling you what you should be pricing it at .😠. Anyone who messes me about gets blocked don't give them a 2nd chance i say . Yeah I’ve had loads like that. They start messing around with taking a few pence off. I’m sure they will have learnt a lesson there and they won’t do it again, you would hope anyway!
Hi, I've just come across your video's I've been popping in and out of Charity shops in Derbyshire for the last month or two with my Dad mostly for fun, How do you deal with the old board games you find do you open each one and check the contents or sell them as seen. I only ask as I've picked up 3 old Monopoly boards before Christmas two were complete, but one had two of the tokens missing!
Thanks for watching! I still love a good charity shop, think I always will. I still find it fun even when I don’t find much. You just never know what’s going to turn up. Yeah I always check all parts. People expect all/most pieces to be there. I would just keep the bits you have for spares for another future monopoly. Or if it’s a higher end monopoly you could just sell off the tokens, money, board etc separately although I do find in most cases they take a while to sell. I had a sonic board game last year. Missing 2 crucial parts so sold off things separately and it all sold quite quick and for more than I would have got selling the full board game. Doesn’t always go like that though. 👍
Mike, do you bother with lilliput lane pieces or steer clear of them? My wife's auntie has left us about 30 of them, mostly unboxed. Thank you. Stewart
Hi, I don’t tend to bother but if you are Inheriting them it’s still worth you selling them and there are a few that are worth a little bit. I’d probably go through and look at the solds on eBay and if they rarely sell or sell for less than £10 I’d bundle them all up. Maybe 3 lots of 10 of 2 of 15. Depends what you’ve got. I think they have a sticker underneath stating their name. If not Google Lens each one. Hope that helps. Hope you have a rare one in there. Some are actually quite cool looking. They did a massive variety. 👍🏠
Just a quick question how do you order those EBay boxes ?
They are from eBay-official-packaging on eBay. I wouldn’t bother unless you are using the £10 voucher for having a medium tier eBay shop. They are expensive otherwise. I tend to buy 50 at a time. They get a lot cheaper the more you buy. Currently £28.12 for 50 free delivery. But £18.12 if using £10 off voucher. Works out 36p ish a box which is just about okay. If you have the voucher, when you go to buy them the option should be here to use the £10 voucher. Tick box somewhere 👍

Hi Mike, I had to block a buyer today, they bought a 5kg bundle of clothing. They didn't read the listing, as the reason for the return was item not as described, because they said it wasn't the same as the pic. I clearly stated in my listing that you wouldn't get what was seen in the pic, as that was for display purposes only. They also said that it was only 1kg, which it really wasn't. it was 5. eBay automatically approved the return, I have had to pay for return postage, even though my policy is buyer pays. I'm expecting to receive 1kg of clothing, as they must have stolen 4kg of it. I've lost out on both postage and 4kg of clothing, it's so frustrating.
Hope you get it sorted. Wait and see what they return then go to eBay. Show eBay what you can like a copy of the parcel weight when sent and what’s been returned. If you can show them what’s happened then I’m sure they’ll do something for you. I’d try not to worry about it you always get the odd bad one. 99% of customers are okay. Merry Christmas

But you know when you get a bad feeling about certain customers and it turns out you were right? Well he was one of those unfortunately. Anyway Merry Christmas to you and yours too.

Now I only do 3 days a week at my office job, so I’m pushing towards being full time one day but we will see. I don’t intend on going full time just yet. Appreciate you watching. Merry Christmas 🎄

Re - RM palava. Knocked sales on the head around 15th, I had started sending UPS for more expensive items , Evri for smaller stuff. Sent a £100 sale 48hr tracked Nov 28th, never arrived until 20th Dec. Buyer was extremely understanding but still opened case 6th Dec then escalated on 20th obviously for their own safety...ebay put case + payment on hold until 30th but luckily it arrived and buyer was happy, case closed after speaking to rep. So looks like they are extending cases as long as you have tracking uploaded.
