For real though, I have been using this team for a while now, a month or so, and it is SO good!!!
I've used a similar ish team, but thunderpunch and power whip on goodra. Caught a few surprises on muds with that. Overall though goodra feels a bit slow to charge moves, and not quite bulky enough in neutral matchups to contribute much.

maybe another dragon is fine, also someone said they were using Gatr instead of goodra and hit legend
Just hit Legend with a similar team, with Shadow Feraligatr instead of Goodra. The ABA electric core is awesome!

I got power whip back on Goodra. One-shots mud boys who assume Goodras don't have it anymore, and hits harder into everything but flyers. Thunder punch hits too weak, like, 1/4 of Skarm, which is a shame for electric move.
I love draco for this reason, the opponents dont respect the nukes

I’ve been running Aslash with blizzard, shadow charm Anine, and brave bird Talonflame. Team might be better if Aslash is a shadow, as well. Nobody expects the blizzard, it hits like 80% of the time.
I have all those mons built, but ASlash is a shadow on my end. Never tried blizzard. What's your second move and fast move? Also what ELO ish?
@@matthewfera2954 I made it over 2500 with the team. Shadow claw and drill run on Aslash. I still use flame charge on talonflame and bravebird. Skarmorys are almost one shot, along with wiggly. Also hard counters grasshole. They will usually switch into a flyer expecting to catch a drill run only to catch the nuke.
@@TheRealMrAndrew Might try it. I just passed 2000 myself (was 2350 early season but fossil cup wiped me.) Been running shadow ASlash, golisopod, and varying thirds like Goodra and charjabug. Might attempt your setup sometime if I ever get enough charge tms.
@@matthewfera2954 fossil cup destroyed me, as well. Used grasshole to get back what I lost and used my team to push above 2500

your team does lose to diggersby, stunfisk, and Golisapod... Just ran into that matchup... didn't matter what I did... Diggersby is a bad matchup/lead against the team... stunfisk is too bulky and gets to rock slide or earthquake too fast... and golisapod is the finisher... you could say that we should beat golisa but you have to work too hard with the first 2... you don't get to the last guy with any hp.
I did go 4-1 though... I use this team a while ago... but with spark when it was more dmg. I had almost forgotten it until this upload...
These are 3 pretty uncommon mons in general, I don't think you lose to Golisopod though
@@KingGBL I dont lose to golisa.. I lost to the first 2.. Golis just cleaned up
I did another set... and I Faced Anhilape, Lantern with Spark, and Carbink. This was not a fun matchup either... It was close though.. lost by 5 hp... carbink just got to 2 rock slides before I could get to my 3rd surf... but it was close.
