Stunning arrangements- so interesting to look at. Love to hear the birds twittering through your open doors. Part of the reason why many find your vids so relaxing is the naturalness and quiet, it’s lovely hearing the rustle of the plants and your interesting commentary. Flower arranging ASMR!

Keep my youngest daughter in y'alls prayers. She has RA and they gave her more methotrexate than her body could handle and got a toxicity. She has been in a pitiful state. God bless Georgie and I am so thankful for your videos. It's such a great mental escape for me.

You have a great loose and natural style. Also like your sense of colour. So very gifted you are. Always enjoy your entertaining presentations.

glad you agree x it's all about light levels and keeping the look warm with the autumn light but allowing the pink to separate the other colours so you can see them x

I always appreciate your sharing your expertise. Deciding on how much to cut and how to divide the stems Into the various arrangements is valuable information. Even I as a home gardener can benefit from an organization scheme.

beautiful arrangement, love your honesty re the floral foam, i'm doing a level 3 course atm and they insist on using the foam, i keep taking in chicken wire to show how it can be used for similar results, you never know how the ripple effect could influence others, fingers crossed.

sorry that's annoying for you - if it's fiddly here there's a link on my website too though someone else just said they were struggling with PayPal to join the club here so maybe PayPal and google are having a little glitch and it'll work again in an hour or so x

Hello! I'm curious if you plant your flowering trees any closer for cutting flowers, to keep them smaller, or do you just follow normal spacing guidelines? Thank you for your videos!

    • @theflowerfarmer

shrubs you mean? or trees? They all get cut cut cut whatever the spacing xxx

@@theflowerfarmer like the cherries and crabapples. I’m about to plant some flowering trees for cutting, and I’m wondering if I should space them closer than the usual instructions suggest.

If your income allows you to choose the VERY BEST of everything…..top quality…., then you don’t need anybody to buy you a coffee. You can afford to buy your own. I agree I love the loveliest of flowers, too……BUT…..my income only allows me to buy store bought flowers….if that! Because they are plenty expensive, too. But they can be beautiful as well, and generally last a few weeks, depending what kind of flower. I like your bouquets and arrangements, so I don’t want to quit watching your channel……but I’m never going to buy you a coffee, especially since I’ve never had a cup of coffee in my life and I’m 72. But I wish you blessings on your channel, and hope man others will buy you coffee and your top quality flowers!🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺🌸🌺

    • @theflowerfarmer

lol - best for my clients! No need to buy me a coffee - just mute the bits where I mention it - luckily lots of other people do which is jolly nice of them and keeps the channel bubbling along x

Would be nice actually see you make the bouquet’s and not just talk about it…. And maybe try not to work so hard on turning the camera on and off. The cut you can do when editing. But of course if your memory card is to small, I guess the way you do it is necessary , but please show more of how you work, that would be nice 👍

    • @theflowerfarmer

I hold regular workshops and online demos demonstrating detailed floristry skills so do book a place on one of those - this week I have a winter wedding workshop and Christmas table scape workshop both of which will demonstrate in detail the skills I use on an every day basis. The TH-cam clips are supposed just to be a fun place with ideas and tips. I am very much time poor as the clips I make I make as I am really working on real commissions, so I turn the camera off and on as I go so that I save time not having to edit at all. When I describe my channel as low fi I mean it! Bon, I hope you don't mind all the chat - I have been told I'm full on talkative, you're not the only one, and enjoy the floristry as I go even if you're not getting the detail you would if you booked one of my online demos or workshops.

You had me baffled there as your intro banner says cherry flowers....I was trying to work out what cherry 🍒 flowers were and how you had them in autumn....sorry !! It did make me giggle. I'm off to look your "slit trench" video that you did for planting snowdrops. Just used this today to plant tulip sylvestris in my lawn . Everything crossed the squirrels don't dig them up !
