Yo Black...Whiteville 2a is one game around from running into Green Central fir the Eastern Champ series here in NC...TRUST me be great vids and respect back to these smaller schools after that one vid did of 1A weak teams...lol. Whiteville only lose to CapeFear (4a?) in very first game they played this year! They my son Rival school and beat us 3 to 0 at their place yet being we a mix conference (2a and 1a) we do still pull for them as they do us in playyoffs! Heck back when my oldest was pulled up from JV for playoffs in 2018 we had rain out in the Eastern 1A championship and called thier coach and being the cloud missed their field (10 miles away) they prepared it for us to come win the Series there!!!

Not familiar with Georgia hs sports (from the northeast) but are all these kids mostly home grown? Or is there a lot of transferring and recruiting for some of these top schools?
okay, I was sitting here enjoying the game and watching the flow of things... As an official in the state I reside in. The umpire at the 15:00 minute mark I felt made the call to the best of his ability. I have slowed it down and watched it time and time again to see who beats who... I'm going to tell you that in the MLB they would no doubt go to the review and not overrule it. It's to close to call... So many people have this belief that if it's a tie that the advantage goes to the runner! Let me say, that IS NOT TRUE! The runner must beat the throw... If the runner hits the bag at the same time the ball is caught, the runner is out! The runner DID NOT BEAT THE THROW if it's a tie. No man with the naked eye can sit there and say, "that's a tie so he is out"... Things are happening to quick for the mind to process what it has seen and heard compared to TV where you can watch a replay in slow motion and then come to the conclusion the runner is out or safe! High School doesn't have that option to resort to the replay system! Now, my second point... The coach for Lowndes Vikings coming out to argue the call at first base is just pure classless considering they are up by 8 runs in the bottom of the 5th inning. The play was to close for a coach to even think about coming out to argue the call. Now, a coach coming out to argue the call at first knows the official isn't going to change his call. So, the coach coming out has no purpose other than to show his butt and get the fans stirred up. In the state I officiate in if a coach walks away and makes the gesture he made as he turned to go to the dugout would have bought him a ticket to the parking lot, a fine, and a three day suspension! If you can't tell, I'm for the officials because I know the crap we go through just to call a game. There's coming a day where kids won't be able to play because there's not enough officials to officiate the game. It's already happening in my state.

North Paulding had a hell of a postseason run, but like you said they ran into arguably the best team in the state‼️
