As I try to explain to people, youtube is an automated system. It would be nearly impossible for it to be manual. 500 hours of content gets uploaded to youtube every... single... minute. So if a bot catches you wrong, or someone flags your video, it is going to get a mark. Then you need to fight it and have someone look at it. Doesn't matter if a hundred other people have the same video with no issue. Your faces, your thumbnail, your outtro, intro all of that makes this video unique.
TH-cam doesnt know what the hell they are doing. I'm actually really hoping a better site gets on the up and up. They censor wayyy too much, and have zero idea what copyright or fair use is, and distribute penalties seemingly randomly

But the entire documentary is up, unedited, on TH-cam right now. A lot of those old-school shockumentaries and mondo docs are up on TH-cam, unedited, with no age restriction on them, right now. Obviously, reacting to one of those is a lot more egregious than reacting to a Markimoo video, but that's the thing. TH-cam doesn't hit people for posting stuff, but they'll come after YOU for reacting to it. And it doesn't seem to matter the contents of the original video. It seems to matter that you did a reaction to it. On an unrelated note, did you get a new camera? Because the camera quality seems a bit higher in this one.

I know its not THAT big of a deal, but you like, say hes laughing in every video, when he isnt. i figure if youre going to watch his TNTL challenges, you would understand his rules to the game :p
Well of course his channel doesn't have a strike. He's got all the subs on the planet. They strike him they LOSE revenue. They strike you they lose nothing. Markiplier is a HUGE advert for the platform and has a insanely large audience of youtube consuming children. Banning him for a week would make them lose INSANE amounts of revenue and that's just not going to happen for smaller stuff like this. Like any platform, including youtube/twitch etc. they'll always give special treatment to the bigger channels because they have a mutual relationship where they both make insane money from each other. Unless you somehow earn them a boat load of cash or cause them to lose a bunch of money they won't really give you the time of day.
