  • Performance bike build at Moonshine Harley Davidson. We drive 440 miles to get to franklin tn to have this build done. We start wanting a 124ci motor with stock heads, and since we have to change the crank, it becomes a 128ci motor build. Stock heads were in rough shape so we upgrade to Frankenstein heads. Several issues were ran into along the way, but Moonshine Harley davidson is great to work with and has us on track.
We don't stop at just the motor build, a full suspension is being done as well, GP shock in the front forks, and Ohlins 044 for the rear. If your gonna go fast, you need to stop fast too, so an entire Beringer brake system is being installed as well. All new rotors, stainless steel brake lines and calipers.

You need to do a cost breakdown video of how much you originally budgeted and then all the add ONS that came up..

Don't forget an Oil cooler. That bike is going to run a lot hotter with that engine upgrade 👌. The longer I watched this, the more my heart sank for you brother. Don't nobody like being called back to the shop. Especially that many times. 😒 But , in the end, that's going to be one hell of fast bike. 😳😁👍

I am glad I was there, I could feel the rods sticking, and the heads were not ok to put back on a new build. I feel good bout moonshine harley.

I just bought a 2010 FXDC with 9200 miles for $5,000 cash. Guess we're both happy.

How much did it end up costing? I have a 21 ultra limited 114” and plan on going in a few months for either just a cam or 128”

You guys are so laid back under 🔥. I really like the "Wingman" vibe.

They should make a wall banner.
I hate to see the snow ❄ ball turn into an avalanche...but being at Moonshine is the other brightside.
I might go with air shocks all around with a hydraulic center stand when I get my Street Glide. "Live'n the dream." Subscribed

i have not looked to see separately.. still overwhelmed at the total for the build. they start i believe at $7k and go up....how fast u wanna go is the question. Personally, I say, just do a bad ass cam, and find a way to be happy.

@@TwoBlueFRED Are you not satisfied with your purchase? I have a 2018 Roadglide special with the 107. I'm just wanting little more torque. I want reliability over high performance. People I spoke with say they should have just kept or did a stage 2 upgrade over doing 124, 128 or 131.
