I will never forget how much I loved and enjoyed house music in the '90s, and some of David's tracks were among my favorites. I wish I had experienced the whole house music thing in Chicago or NYC but I was in L.A. The last dance club I went to regularly had a fantastic house music night but the style of sound changed somewhere around 2016. Whatever they were playing did not hold a candle to the kind of soulful house music I loved so that was it. I wanted to "go to church" on the dance floor, not try to dance to musical egg yolks. He is so right in this interview about the art of sound. Last 3 times I hit the club the music was anonymous and flaccid. Now here we are in the Twilight Zone, 2020, and tonight I was listening to an old Pet Shop Boys album and some of David's magic on "New York City Boy" so I went to YT and watched this interview. Thanks David for all the awesome and magical nights on the dance floor. May the mighty House rise again sometime soon!
The children will never know the 90s buying those CDMs of your fav artists with club mixes on them. It was a treat when you saw Morales or Def Club Mix listed. Always a hot mix!

I think David Morales should do a remix of a Moby song?
True legend but on the mainstream side. I respect more DJ Sneak or MAW who kept the sets and music quality very high.
