It's difficult to convey tone and intention online. I'm an Australian Mum in my 40s...so I hope my directness doesn't come across as rude or unfeeling. I've lived in rural, high bushfire/wildfire risk areas...had a few close calls. Been in a town impacted by significant flooding. I'm Asthmatic. One thing I'm working on is training with my gear. Carrying over distance is tiring and time consuming. I find learning about hiking, particularly advice from experienced through hikers, and about 'rucking' from the military...helps. Footcare is critical. It's a marathon, not a sprint..but sometimes sprinting is required. Recovery time and efficiency matter. I encourage you and everyone to practice and make fitness an important part of habits. @offtargetsurvivalandpreppi5283
@@offtargetsurvivalandpreppi5283 I'd hope those plans involve your health. You have a great mindset for survival, but I highly advise prepping your health too for when SHTF. I'm not singling you out, I too need to work on my health some. Best of luck on your prepping and be safe out there.
ever consider Thermal Plastic? its plastic that can just be formed with hot water. i made a large ball then smashed it flat and its become an essential part of my bug out/camping packs. i have made spear tips, tent stakes, fork, spoon, knife(ish) and countless other tools and just re mold the ball n smash it down when im done
Waterproofing, remember water in the fibre of your bag weighs approximately 1 kilo per litre. So consider kewi shoe waterproofing spray (many use it on tents and bags) and pack with a heavy duty garbage bag as a pack liner. 👍
Good job man, the kit looks really well put together definitely going to subscribe..Im not sure of your area or bug out plan. but a few tips that could make you're pack a little bit better would be adding more medical; like military pressure bandages and a few more TQs. I also would think about dropping the axe because you already have a saw and could also baton with a knife. And lastly i would lose the pliars and wrench since you have the multi tool and replace that weight with a few more protein/energy bars or some candy (for morale boost)
I like those IRR longshort backsnugpack clones. Rocket pouches are great. A tip. GSR gasmask case. Molle it onto the bottom of your pack. Then when you take it off it will sit on its base and not fall over, invariably landing in mud you didn't see under grass wetting your straps 😂. Back pack bro. I stripped down to a 45lt Berghouse side pouches GSR your at 75 or so. Plenty of room. Short backs you can run LBE PLCE ALICE webbing for it to ride on and keep food water shelter etc etc on your webbing. Makes a big big difference in agility and endurance.
This video exploaded :) expect a mix of comments but so far they're well-intentioned. I was at a point where I i was out of breath just putting my bag on. I then got to a stage where I could put it on and run up and down the stairs a couple of times before being out of breath. Then I got worse and started smoking and am early diabetic, and I know for myself my gear is no use to me if im just stuck at home with it because I'm not fit enough to move it. You know yourself but it's probably the most important part of prepping.
It's good that you have all this kit but your hardware doesn't look very.. "used" is it not a good idea to test equipment before adding it to bags? Everything in my kit bag has been tested numerous times before I commit to keeping it in there
Most of my stuff is brand new in my bug out bag as they are duplicates of kit i use bushcrafting and camping etc but i agree you need to know your kit inside out. The amount of stuff i have got rid of or changed after using it in the field.
This is an option for for reducing water purification system weight and bulk...th-cam.com/users/shortsD6i0zWDQWu4?si=TfBtPJ55q4Lsb2dT This allows you to go without the flusher in the pack the Sawyer comes with. Those bags with the Sawyer are known to fail often. Switch it out for a disposable water bottle.
It's good you have all the gear and preparedness in mind. I hope you have plans for all aspects of being prepared for SHTF.
Mate got plans for my plans

Great video mate, nice gear too!
@@CMMilitaria thanks pal an glad you enjoyed the video.
Great video, mate. I dont mean to be rude, but i would like to suggest that everyone, including myself, get fit and lose weight.
This is my latest focus also. Im a heavy lad and need to get fitter for sure.
@batzpfsaddict2806 Getting fit is way easier than losing weight. I've been struggling too, man.

How much does your total SHTF pack weigh?

Wow, what make is that little admin/tool kit, looks fantastic. Loose the wind chimes, you don’t need them, you have a dog!
