Sir, ask ko lang po yung regarding sa toxic component ng styrofoam pag naexpose sa heat na linked sa cause ng cancer... Like yung mga styro cup na pag nilagyan mo ng mainit na tubig is magkakaroon ng relase of toxic element... So papano naman po yung sa panel? pagdiba nga naexpose yung cemento then iint ung styro sa loob? is it still safe po ba sa health ?

I watch your videos, Arch. Ed, because they are very helpful ... thank you very much... I esp like the ones where you share tips on how to decrease heat/humidity inside houses like planting trees if possible or placing plants inside the house (snake/rubber) plants (which I can do), using Jalousie windows, and SRC panels. Arch. Ed, the manufacturers are from Caloocan, you say in this video, and I agree that shipping the product would add cost. I'm from Leyte, where in the Visayas does the company make its SRC panels available? Thanks...

Sir, matanong ko lang. Paano ka kumukuha ng mga gagawa ng project mo? Sa experience ko kasi, kumuha nga ako ng professional civil engineer as contractor, ang kaso hindi naman marunong yung mga workers. Pinabayaan na madumi ung linya ng tubig, maraming pumasok na buhangin at mga debris ng tiles, ang nangyari na-clog tulog yung Rain-shower ko.. ako pa nag linis, kaso mahirap na maalis completely. Sasabihin ko ito kay engineer, pero hindi lang ito ang unnecessary mistakes..
Dapat yata meron ding vocational certificate mga trabahador. At least yung foreman.

Arch. Ed, was there a Philippine government institution that has carried out testing on these EPS panel, approved and certified it, then accepted or included in our standard Building Code? If there is or now included in the building code, why are some structural engineers are not incorporating it on their plans/drawings specifying EPS panel rather than a CHB? They did this so as not to compromise or delay approval of building permit submitted to city officials. I’m really sceptical about the use of the EPS if even the govt officials are not updated with this new method of building, hence will therefore disapprove any building permit being requested. Speaking thru experience, just had my house built recently with EPS panel, my architect resubmitted an As-built drawing specifying CHB intentionally instead of EPS panel to city officials for occupancy permit just to avoid being denied the permit. Since you had the vast experience of building houses with EPS panel, actually I acquired the knowledge about EPS panel from your blog - Thanks, is the use of panel specifically included or added in our building code? Was this method or practice also included or existed in North America or Europe building code? I’m aware that this method is existent for a while now outside of the country, why do our govt officials, engineers and architects are still not aware that this method is acceptable one? Any thoughts, please. Thanks.

From my personal observation most govt employees are just robots waiting for salary kaya walang technical motivation therefore walang newly approved innovation sa various fields of engineering. While other countries embrace new technology tayo 2023 na pero marami pang jeepney...3D panels pa? Kung marami sanang Arch Ed who is dynamic and open-minded and not ‘new technology’ shy aasenso na sana Pilipinas.

​@@kirtfabrero7192Ang punto lang po siguro n'ya is walang innovative mindset hanggang ngayon dito satin. 2024 na pero parang bago pa rin sa pandinig nila itong EPS technology. Mahilig kasi masyado sa traditional which is not a bad thing naman pero sayang yung bagong modern technologies.

Im thinking of using this panel. Pero na realised ko na kapag magcrack to or mabutasan to it could be infested with insects ung luob that could lead to more problems.

Common po ang cracks sa cement walls. Pero this panels' steel mesh will hold the plaster so enough na po iyon para maiwasan ang cracks. Hindi rin ito mabubutas unless mag drill kayo talaga ng holes kasi covered ito ng concrete

wala daw available sa hardware nung katulad ng naprocess na nila na wire. dapat daw 120,000 psi ang tensile strength na di daw kaya i-achieve ng walang special machinery na gagamitin. mahirap din daw gawing pantay pantay pag DIY.
