You really took the years off of these boots. Some call it patina, some call it grime. I think it worked out pretty well for this pair. They initially looked allot like my first pair of red wing iron rangers did after I over conditioned them. The only difference is I never got them to look good again.
Great video. Shows what goes into a quality repair. I’ve always wanted to be a cobbler ❤️Nice music too. Goes well with the video👍 one question, why do they stitch the instep strap?Just for aesthetics or for added strength?
Solid work on restoring this pair. Final result looks super gorgeous. Off tangent, but can I ask what shirt you are wearing? It's some kind of playing card patterned wabash?
How does this channel not have 100.000 subscribers? Great work!!!
Well done, that is an approval of 'old fashioned craftsmanship' ! Meant as a compliment , like the vids ,so continue ;-))

Man you guys do some fantastic work.
Great job! The nails you removed seem very stout compared to the ones you used, were they overkill?

Thanks! And the shirt at the end is a heart pattern Wabash from labour union.

Сапоги с кожаной подошвой? Может резину подклеить?
what type of leather are those? They have some interesting wrinkles.
We aren't sure, they don't really specify on their website.
What conditioner do you guys use?
On these boots we used a conditioner we made ourselves out of a few natural ingredients.
What did you first wipe the boot with?
Probably aceotne
