At 23:00 we could've avoided calculation as the initial rate of milk is also 630/70 i.e. 9 rupees. So those extra 5 litres directly correspond to profit. Hence total profit 9x5 = 45

Ques no.8 can have two possible solutions.
Alternative could be
CP=2000, SP=2400, P=400.
somehow this verifies
Not possible
If CP is 2000 and SP is 2400 then CP becomes (2000-600= 1400) and SP will become (2400-400= 2000) then their difference is (2000 - 1400=600)so profit of this will be 600/1400 which is not equal to 30%

Q8 My Ans - 10000
(Cp x 120/100 - 400 ) - (CP - 600) = CP x 20/100 x 11/10
CP Comes 10000.
If you minus 600 from Cp then it will be 9600 Cp .
And minus 400 from 12000 Sp it will be 11600 Sp.
Profit is 2200 which is 10% more than 2000 which was 20% of 10000.
Please Let me know if I'm wrong 🙏🏻
That first Equation means - Selling price less 400 minus Cost price less 600 equals to 10% more than previous profit .
