Omg YES! I have two pet snakes and one of them is a hoggy. I'm so happy to finally see a pattern that captures their sweetest feature - the shovel nose 🥺 Now I can properly capture my grumpy princess' likeness 😆❤️ Year of the snake is the best, whoop! 🙌
I just wanted to say thank you for all the incredible patterns. Two christmases ago I was new to crochet and going through a really hard time in my life, and I took on some of your Australian animals to make as christmas gifts. Crochet helped me keep busy and grounded, and your patterns challenged me a LOT and helped me improve my skills. I remember the first pattern of yours I tried to make was your curly snake, and it turned out AWFUL because it was way too advanced for me at the time but I pushed through and ended up making some really beautiful things from your patterns. I'm in a much better place now, and I'm a much better crocheter because of the unique, challenging, and comprehensive patterns you put out. I know it's a bit silly but your channel really does mean a lot to me, you've helped me to both improve my crochet skills and survive one of the hardest parts of my life. I'm gonna make this little guy as a redemption snake to make up for my first one, lol. Happy new year
Holy crap, he is so darling! I likely will never own a Hognose but I have always admired them. (Current and future pets probably make it not ideal to own a hoggy) but now I can own one! Absolutely darling. I think I’m going to try making a little blep tongue out of embroidery thread. So so so cute!
As soon as I finish my current WIP, I shall endeavor to make this. My spouse is a huge reptile fan and if I present him with this cutie he will squee like a child.
Your patterns seriously never fail to amaze me! You are so insanely creative and the fact you post these for free on TH-cam is beyond me. Thank you so much!!! You’ve helped me advance so much as an artist
Hey! I've been so busy lately that I haven't watched anything recently (hooray potty training) but I came back to your channel because I made a dragon last year and I knew I wanted to make your snake 😊 love this pattern as always ❤
Oml. It's perfect. My second favorite species of snake! (The first is a sand boa. Im hoping someone makes one this year, since it's the year of the snake and all.)
I love the world card! I try to think of things not as positive kr negative. But as pleasant or unpleasant. Unpleasant things are not bad, they are part of life! And so the moon card is that for me
Your comment about the tail and knot makes me think you may have owned a snake in the past or played with one. Cause they do just that. Especially ball pythons
I bet Emily and Ed at Snake Discovery would love these!
1000% agree! Hognose obsesssssssed. 😂
Dude same thought
I love that it’s not just me who is watching snake discovery and this channel ❤
lol how many mails will they get if these???
I was gonna comment this hahah❤
Snake Discovery needs to see this! This is awesome!
i shall make and mail!!!
i am able to do so easily as im from the US :P
I love when the reptile lover and crochet part of the community overlap
I do love reptiles, but amphibians will always be my favourite!

I'm going to make mine a superconda hog!
It doesn't matter if there are 2 other snake patterns on the channel, there is ALWAYS room for a hognose pattern!!
Oh my goodness so adorable!
6:37 error in pattern, i had to do 3sc to get the color change centered in the correct location.
Omg these are so cutee❤❤❤ do you make these patterns yourself? And if so do you think you could design a skunk pattern?❤
Omg l love you re channel
Great Now I would crochet Ekans.
I LOVE hognoses! I really want one, but I'm pretty sure almost all species are illegal in my part of Canada 😢
I want to crochet little guys like this so badly, but where should I start learning?

I always associate things with food 🤦🏽♀️ My brain initially saw 'doughnut sprinkles snake' 🍩🤷🏽♀️

I sadly have not. I am Australian though, and grew up rural. So I've had a lot of general snake exposure.
