Do they say you can stack the batteries on walls . I saw a 36” top clearance note

Franklin had originally stated the battery clearance was 12” and had example sites from Hawaii where they had units stacked on top of each other. If I recall correctly they had load bearing calculations already done for wall mounts. But those batteries are just way too heavy to lift up that high.

How did the critical loads calc work out with only 2 batteries they can’t power that whole 125 amp critical loads panel. I’m dealing with this issue right now with my installation and the county is being nitpicky about loads. The original plan had no critical loads panel just smart circuits and we removed some unnecessary 220 loads but now they are saying we need a critical loads panel. The issue is 2 batteries only provide 10kw of power which is around 80 amps right?

Per the NEC no single circuit can exceed the continuous output rating of the backup device(s). Each Franklin battery can provide 25a continuous, having two units gives you a maximum single circuit of 50 amps.
