I have wanted to see this kind of iris done for a long time. Again you did not disappoint. Absolutely beautiful.! Thank you for all the time you spend with us. Much appreciated.
I am so glad I found your channel. My grandmother loved iris, she planted them in every flowerbed. I have wanted to learn to paint them for so long. Thank you so very much for sharing your techniques. XoXo
I want to thank you for being my therapy many years ago. My 26 year old nephew fell 4 stories off of a scaffold while working on a construction site and ended up in the hospital in induced coma. I was so worried about him that I couldn’t sleep. (He eventually got better) At that time happened to catch a commercial or advertisement of your one stroke painting and thought I would give it a try. I started painting and learning little by little and it really seemed to help me through a really rough time. I haven’t painted for a long time and am a little rusty but hopefully I can pick it back up and get in some more paint therapy😉
These Dutch Irises are my favorite! Simply beautiful Donna.

Beautiful. I agree with Jeanne sometimes your hand is in the way so you don't see your full technique. 👍👍👍

So pretty. Do you ever do task bearded irises ?
I keep twisting my head to look under your hand so that I can see what the bristles of the brush are doing. LOL
Sorry!
Beautiful indeed. But can we use this floating medium on the fabric?
No, we use Textile Medium on fabric.
@@DonnaSDewberry thank you for your reply. 😊👍
What is that in the center of your paint 🎨 you dip into it?
Sorry I thought I shared. It’s floating medium. It’s used instead of water. The fluff in paint with no pigment
if we want to recreate this do we need the medium or should water suffice
Complete supply list is provided at the beginning of the video.
I can't see your prush strokes if you Film the way you have in the iris tutorial, please try to Film from a different angle
Beautiful but sometimes your hand hides your technique.
