The dish you called a bone dish is really only one part of a lazy susan platter. Usually five of those dishes fit on a circular wooden plate with a round bowl in center, used for serving. You made me smile when you called it a bone dish. 😊
Just an FYI, pyrex bowls have lead in the paint on the outside of the bowls, so wash your hands after handling. They are safe to use because no paint on the inside. McCoy didn’t use lead in their paint at all.
Wow, I overpaid for my salt cellars, $3.99 , at Value Village also known as Savers, yikes I've never come across the open salt cellars before $1.99 , I would have bought 2 ❤😅.
When researching an antique porcelain vase I recently found, I read an article that says Limoges is not a maker or manufacturer, but rather the area of France in which the item was made.
Im writing again the tidbit tray is called Christmas time from Nippon, the Octagon shaped is so neat. I have a huge collection of it my mother in law bought it for our first Christmas, in 1996 I have added over the year's, it goes for good money, because that style was retired in 2014.
I'm hoping you bought all those stoppers - Crystal even with the chips I saw They were only $1.99 each. You can use them in bottles that are missing theirs. Are they are Beautiful to hang in a sunny ☀️ place 😮😊
6:45 I love your little “ha, ha!” of satisfaction. 8:12 I wish I could be a fly on the wall at GW, when pricing decisions are made. 9:43 In a nutshell, this accounts for quite a lot of our sales. 10:27 I am in your area and I find that glasses for the major horse races sell low, but glasses for smaller events are worth looking up.
You had one heck of a great day at that Goodwill store. Love the snowmen that you bought!! The one item that I raised my voice for you to get was the Hot Chocolate Pot. I have a couple of them. They’re so beautiful in a display. I bet it would’ve been a pain to ship though.😵💫😵💫 Great shop and company, thank you!!😍😍🛍🛍
Some of the early KY Derby glasses can be good. Mostly 60 and 70'S ones. My son has been collecting since he was 9. He's 37. He has all of the 60 n 70"s.
I love Jenny's new artwork at the beginning of your video. She did a great job. My favorite piece was the rectangle dish that you picked up. I love that kind of stuff with the pink flowers on it. I think you said it was limoge? Gorgeous. 😊 I loved the crystal stoppers, too. You got some good stuff.
GHA! The cookie press! My older sister (by 7 years) had one of those and she would never let me touch it! I’d say it’s a trigger, but I feel a but old for that. She wouldn’t let me touch her gum chain either. Love your videos always!
If you soak glass pieces with tape on them in warm, soapy water for a few minutes, the tape will come right off without removing the paint. I’ve tried it, and it works!
That was a record shopping trip! yay! Dr. Lori on yt said in one of her video's chocolate pots are only tall metal pots with a long handle sticking out the middle of it. According to her the tall ceramic pots are all coffee pots not chocolate pots. Take it for what it is worth lol. I couldn't say one way or the other I don't know ☺
Wow Dagny......your haul is fantastic! I find myself rearranging when I thrift too. Too funny. And, as I mentioned one time, I can usually tell what you'll pick up. Good eye. 😂
🐷🧡Hi Dagny, you found a lot of good things in this video. Hope you are having a nice Saturday. Sending HUGS as always. Will say HI tomorrow on your LIVE stream. TTFN!!🧡🐖
Many thrift stores rate their employees performance based on the number of priced items per day. The salt bowls would be several priced items vs. one bag of bowls for an employee. Unfortunately it's causing employees to split up groupings to get more numbers.
I sold those fruit bowls let me find the name. Its mikasa fruit bowls. I sold a box set for 20.00. Its the glass ones you pick up with the fruit on it.
Hi Dagny 👋 You found some GREAT things🎉I love Jenny's art. And the Doggies undercover at the end is so Precious. I made a very quick short on my channel introducing my New Hairy son Chewbacca Auggie aka Chewie. He is Tiny with Big Personality. I will make more. I just got him Tuesday. He's only 8wks. And he has kept me busy. I am sleep deprived but I Love him💙
@@FlyingPigThrifts Thank you. I watched your live yesterday. And liked but I was trying to watch over the puppy and bake Brownies n cookies. While hubby n my nephew was moving some furniture in our home. I love how you all compliment each other easily💞
Hi Dagny. I may be wrong but I do believe the rectangular dish at 8:17 is a Terrine Casserole dish. The French use this to bake layers of chopped meat, seafood, or vegetables, a little like a Pate for dining. Not exactly to an American's taste. You are right it is missing the cover but I am old enough to remember Julia Childs on her PBS show using her Terrine without the top and using an aluminum foil covered brick to bake her dish. The lid was probably broken and of course being from a time that nothing was thrown out, one would "Improvise"!❤😂
That was an awesome pic. Got quite a bit of nice things. I watch you on my iPad. I have it turned up as far as it will go, and I still can’t hear you to good I would rather be able to turn it down if you could be a little louder anyway thanks for the video. I enjoyed it and I will catch you on your next one.
I’m sorry I was hard to hear - I tried listening to it on our iPad and didn’t have any trouble with the sound. I know the in person talking is lower than the voice over is…hopefully the next video works for you. Thank you for watching! 😊
The dish you called a bone dish is really only one part of a lazy susan platter. Usually five of those dishes fit on a circular wooden plate with a round bowl in center, used for serving. You made me smile when you called it a bone dish. 😊
Still watching, but it was sooo satisfying when you paired the tongs with the bowl, lol.
I love you letting us look at the shelves with you. You weren't too close it was perfect. Your videos are very informative.
Thank you so much!
Just an FYI, pyrex bowls have lead in the paint on the outside of the bowls, so wash your hands after handling. They are safe to use because no paint on the inside. McCoy didn’t use lead in their paint at all.
Maybe the bbq grill was for matches?
I love the way you and Jocelyn rearrange the shelves! It’s a hoot!
I love Jocelyn but sometimes she’s reckless.that’s why I stopped watching her
@@Barbidoll1 😮😮😮😮
My favorite cookie press! I buy them when I see them to give to friends with a few recipes.

I love it when you get distracted and interupt yourself; it makes me Iaugh every time 🤣

Full cart day!! YAY!!!
Jocelyn is looking for the yellow bowl to complete her set!
I came here to say the same thing.😂😂😂😂

Joselyn is looking for the large yellow bowl, this one is to small. Wrong one.

Never hang glass in a place where the sun shines thru them. They act as magnifying glass and can start a fire.
CLL has been looking for a yellow Pyrex bowl for a while. Not sure which size she needs.
I have a red apple cookie jar, and I love it!
Another great video ❤
Thank you 🤗
Cute puppies
I'm from Texas and of course I ❤ you!
I have the same cookie press. Love spritz cookies❤
Your fur babies are adorable!!!!❤️ the Apple cookie jar and crystal stoppers were my favorites!

I would have guessed the Frankoma piece was a taco holder. 😊
Yes
That was my first thought !
The artwork was lovely. It looked like needlepoint.

Yes, give Jocelyn the yellow pyrex bowl!!!
The gold edged item might have been stone slabs that they sold at Anthropologie for 75.00….. I bought two as gifts
Love your videos Dagny....thank you😊❤
oh my so many pretty things! love the polish coffee pot.

Isn’t the yellow Pyrex bowl the one Jocelyn has been looking for?
Fenton glass is not marked with anything other than a sticker, prior to 1973.
If you soak glass pieces with tape on them in warm, soapy water for a few minutes, the tape will come right off without removing the paint. I’ve tried it, and it works!
Dagny!! I have never seen you have such a full cart. A great thrifting trip for you. I love the snow men you picked out. Happy thrifting
Great video! Glad you found so many treasures!! I think CLL said she found the yellow Pyrex bowl.
The red pot is from slow cooker
Cranberry dish was pretty

I think one of the decanters to the stoppers was in the new cart you got the red rainbow glass out of

Isn't Jocelyn looking for that yellow pyrex??😮
I was getting ready to tell Dagny that too! Jocelyn says she needs it to make her set complete.
I think she's looking for a larger yellow
Thank you for explaining the casserole warmer. At first I thought it was a two holder😂
@@TN_GG 😀I thought it might have been a larger one but, I couldn't remember the size.
I think the black ashtray may be coal. My mother had one like it.
I bet you're correct. I think its very pretty.
I was thinking coal too. I believe its called anthracite coal. Not the soft coal we use to write on the sidewalk with and get scolded for doing.
Black ashtray is coal.
DAPHNE IS THAT THE YELLOW PYREX JOCELYN HAS BEEN LOOKING FOR?
I came here to say the same thing. 😆
I think Jocelyn needs the largest size.
