- Finger tattoos are a little tricky because we use our hands a lot so saniderm has to come off faster (it will fall off anyway)
what I normally do is wash the tattoos super gently with antibacterial fragrance free soap.
I pat dry with paper towels and then apply a very thin film of aquaphor.
for the first week I do this 3 times a day then just 2 until the scabing stage emerges then I leave them alone.
hands tho, you have to wash them for sanitary reasons!!! so the 3 times a day doesn't really apply here but you can juat be careful not to get the tattoo parts to wet.
(please wash your hands! don't be nasty)
you'll have to get a retouch anyways.
Low key my greatest fear in the healing process when I get my knuckle tattoos is wiping my ass
Lmfao
yea if you can't stop shoving your fingers knuckle deep
Latex gloves
just got mine done hoping i do a good enough job on healing them that i dont need a touch up but we'll see
Ohhh new ink hype! I haven't had to retouch mine at all yet. Definitely try to moisturize your hands all the time specially in cold weather
@@MarDCaos deff will be keeping a good eye on them the second they start to dry out ill throw some of the goods on it!
@@MarDCaos how often would you say you applied lotion/ointment to it?
That can't have been very easy to do with the nails. Looking great though.
Hehe it is easier than it looks xD
Thank you zieth!
Ohh that’s how. I use my hands for work so I gotta wash them mfers a lot, I guess if I wear those for 3-4 days it should set and heal
Oh woah. What do they all mean?
how long did you leave the plastic on?
I usually leave the saniderm on for no longer than 6 days but the fingers are tricky and it had to come off on day 3.
@@MarDCaos is it alright to take it off once it starts peeling off because mine did after one day so i just took it off
@ツ yeah that's totally fine. Just do your regular after care. You can always ask your tattoo artist what they recommend 👌
So you can wash directly under a faucet or will that cause ink to seep out?
