Empire in the early naughties was my favourite venue. We used to drive up from Scarborough all the time. Saw some class Djs there. Timo Mass Sander Kleinenberg Graham Park and loads more. I used to think that the resident there was class also. Oli Faulkner I think he was called. Best times of my life !

No pissin about, no dancing about like the DJ is more important that the tracks they play (you mob know who you are, you bunch of salads), no knob twiddling. This is how its done kiddy winks!
I disagree. DJs are important, but they did not write, produce and record the music they play.
@@justiceguru100 i never said they wernt however some 'modern' DJs (and some older ones too) think they are the most important element to an apperance or set when they are not. The DJ and the music they play should be connected together with one never being more important than the other. People like Terry Hunter, FK, Dave Macusso (do a google search), LL along with some of the todays big heavyweights in various genres know this. When was the last time you saw Sasha prancing about or Dave Lee knob twiddling like a complete muppet? They let there skills and their indepth knowledge of their subject matter do the talking. Some of the digital breed are frankly an embrassement and should never be near a set of 'decks'.
