This is not a charger you should use. you have to think about safety. an automatic intelligent charger with over current, volt protection is recommended!
Oh yes, but you forgot about temp control! The most important for Lithium and likely for any chem to not do explosion, as well polarity check. 😺 It must be better done with MCU and PWM pumping at least, ideally with ΔV control. 😼 I'm totally understand channel author, but spreading ignorance not help anyone, be it better a incourage to learn! 😺

ypu can't charge a 3S battery (= 4.2*3 = 12.6V ) with USB charger :. It's only 5 volts .... You must use a boost step-up converter for this ! A BMS is madatory !

Instead of resistors R5 and R6, you put a 10 K potentiometer. Adjust the cut-off limit from there, using an adjustable voltage source adjusted exactly to the voltage you want to switch to.
