Battle Rings were a seriously underrated concept for a Mario-type platformer. Yea, Mario Galaxy 2 KINDA did them with warp boxes, but those were piss easy and lasted maybe 10 seconds at best. These were fun and exciting and lasted a minute each. Would love to see battle rings return if Nintendo ever funds or makes another 3D Wario game.
