It's been a while, life has been busy and I struggeled to edit and get this out for yahs. Wendell, the start of the channel recenty turned 7 so I wanted to get him out for a day in the woods. We hit some amazing snow covered trails, stop to have a campfire steak lunch, check out some warming shelters and fly the drone around. I can't believe how organized those trail systems are!! NS has a lot to learn from you guys. Well done, NB clubs 💯
Hey man ! thanks a lot ! yeah we have a really good group of ATV Clubs who put in a Crazy amount of their time to make the trails what they are. Plus in some bizaro world, the Government actually helps the clubs with money and stuff rather than fighting the clubs. They see the tourism money coming in from ATV'ing and Snowmobiles.
Yeah parts of NS are SO far behind, and they arent even moving in the right direction, they are going backwards..... Where I am from Porters Lake NS, they lost basically the main trail (railbed) to a group of "non-motorized" walkers club..... they dont even live in the community.... they wont even allow horses to use them... so now it's barely used, the odd walker or cyclist..... then when maintenance needs to be done they will hire someone to do it, when we always just did it for free to keep the trail good... it's crazy.

Hey buddy. Good to see a video of you on the trail enjoying the day with Wendell. He is one lucky dog to have you cook him up a steak over a campfire, that is super awesome! The view over at the point was sweet and a good place to fly the drone around for a quick look from above. Haha, your dad is awesome, but I hear you on this has got to be the best steak ever lol. I feel the same way so the only thing you can do is place it second haha! The cam perspective on Wendell was pretty sweet man. It should make for some interesting videos when you use it.

Hello in the Maritimes eh! Good to see you back. Happy B Day to Wendell, such a good little dude. Got out yesterday for 50 miles or so here in Montana. Pretty much all road riding, snow is pretty much gone but a lot of windfall across the trails still. Nice to get out though. I see the family is growing. Beautiful kids. You'll have some atv partners pretty quick along with Wendell!

I’m driving through NB heading for NS and PEI I’m rewatching some videos on the downtime. The videos are amazing but still don’t do the beauty of this part of the world justice. I recommend people come and see it for themselves it’s incredible.

How long did it take Wendell to get used to riding in that crate. I have a 9 month old jack russel. I want to her out with me. I may see you on the trails. Great video. Thanks
Hey ! Ahhhh I dont know how long it took, but I started slow, I put him in the basket with the machine off, then I had him around the machine when it was running, then I had him in the basket while it was running. then I took him for a short ride, stopping and giving him treats, and I had him in a harness and on a leash for a bit.
I also let him out and run along side of the ATV and I would stop from time to time and give him a treat if he followed me good. baby steps basically, you should start soon.

Just subscribed! Love your channel! What are your thoughts on the Kodiak 700 for a guy that doesn't care about speed and just wants to slow poke around? Do you ever find the Grizzly too wide for some NB trails or find the Grizz not so nimble? Hard for me to decide between Kodiak, Grizzly and Rubicon.
Hey man, thanks for subscribing and leaving me a comment ! Well I think the Kodiak is a great machine, it's a lot like the Grizz but just a little more towards working/slower machine. The Grizz is never too wide for the trails here b/c so many people have SXS's (and some SXS's are wider than a Jeep now haha) so thats never an issue.
I would say, if you can get the 686 Yamaha motor in the Kodiak, I would get that over the 708 Subaru motor (I have the 708 in my grizzly so I'm not bias haha)
Mine has been a great motor but some people had issues with the 708's.
I'm a big Honda fan, I like the Rubicon too, I personally just feel like Honda hasn't done much to improve them over the years, they are still a Amazing reliable machine, but jumping from a Rubicon to a Grizzly and you will notice the difference. But the Rubicon will probably out live all of us haha
I personally havent drove a 700 Kodiak, but I have some subscribers who own them and really enjoy them, plus the are cheaper than a Grizzly. I hope that helps ya !
