ive done this challenge and for some reason i always feel like im more careless 😭 maybe because at first im SUUUPER careful, which drains my energy and so i start going fast and making mistakes
Let’s be real it wouldn’t be any fun if she was being super super careful.

I can’t even imagine doing this challenge with public lots, especially restaurants. The last one I built took so much energy and reconfiguration 😩

She wasn't changing colours, she was scrolling through the colours with hotkeys on the keyboard before actually letting go of the mouse to officially place it.
@@AFriendlyWeirdo she used hot keys for a few objects, but there were also several times she used the swatch tool and changed them after placing (like with the blanket basket and the dresser for example)

Since it's an old victorian style house, I like to imagine there are stories behind the weird things :D
-There are so many columns because the roof was threatening to fall so they just kept adding them instead of fixing whatever caused it
-Someone was halfway through re-doing the roof and stopped the project and it never got finished, which is why there's the weird roof-less spot on the porch
-The fireplace is made out of like, plaster and it was a cheap installation because the person wanted a fancy fireplace but didn't even spend the money to get the window on the outside removed
-The kitchen was "remodeled" and now has the newer, white cabinets and the odd, built-in stove and oven
My favorite line in the whole video: “wow, loving the contrast between the brick and this stupid fence”
I hope Kayla builds more “not-for-the-gallery” houses. Maybe I’m just making this up, but it seemed like she was having fun just building for her own enjoyment and not worrying about the house also being functional and pretty and limiting packs, on top of following challenge rules (those things quite often conflict with one another!).
This was really fun to watch. :)
Also the lilsimsie wallpaper looked so good in the dining room wish she'd keep that 😅

i was about to say the same thing!! i really like how the vibe turned out aside from all the mistakes haha i think old houses are my fav in the sims and i like when things are a bit mismatched or not the prettiest color scheme in them bc its more realistic :)

There's something oddly realistic about this house and all its random mistakes
Okay so here's here's scope with this house: Think about it... It's an old family home with updated appliances. The reason why it's shaped so "weirdly" is because it used to be an old shop (hence the random wall). The new people of the house added an updated fireplace because of the cold winters. Some of the furniture is turned or pushed back because the kids like to run around the house a lot. Since there's no TV the kids pretty much love going to the park and spending time outside. Sometimes they sneak on the computer & watch old movies. Their parents make sure that they always do their homework while taking care of the toddlers. One parent is a freelancer and the other is a professor. They're earning money to add in other renovations for the kids like a swing, or a thermostat.

I feel like her other "no mistake challenge" videos have never been that chaotic.....I get more stressed as the video goes, it's a disaster 😭

Do the Backwards Build Challenge!! I saw it on Vixella's Channel. Start the build by placing the furniture, then the flooring, then the doors / windows, then the walls.

When she put the spandrels on the out of place fence my immediate thought was she should just turn it into a wedding venue.
And the miss placed column could like be the start of some string lights for outside
I actually wish you'd put this on the gallery because I have a lot of ideas on how to fix those mistakes without changing anything you've done. It would be just a neat thing to offer people y'know?

Plenty of other people have said this but what about a every room is a different challenge challenge, like for one room you spin for which pack it has to be based on, the other you have to spin for the colour or budget

the fact that kayla keeps explaining and demonstrating the rules of the challenge as she is building is 100% chaotic good energy and I'm stressed
I love that she catches some of her 'cheats', but hasn't caught herself when she'd place an item and THEN change the color (after she caught herself the first few times)
Kayla continuing to change the color of things she already placed makes this 10x more stressful 😂
For the stairs railing thing, wouldn’t it make sense if they made it so you hold shift and hover over which side you place the railing like how you can do the same with roofs?
You could put it on the gallery and we could renovate it!
I can picture that, because this is an older house, the up stairs bathroom was a later addition/renovation and the house was originally constructed with the one down stairs bathroom

When I first started playing the sims 4 I tried this challenge after like…2 weeks. I couldn’t find out how to control the camera at the time, so I drew a wall all the way to the outside of the house and through the balcony💀😂😭

i would love to see kayla renovate these no mistake houses, like she could go back and make the changes she couldnt make and fix her mistakes so the house looks how she wanted it

These are my favorite! Thanks for making another! :) A fun video idea could be renovating your no mistakes build challenge, but with no mistakes. You’d be able to move walls or columns and change object placement, but once you do, it’s once again stuck.
These are probably my favorite challenges the energy is fantastic

hey kayla! while not fully placing an item down you can use your + and - key that way you don’t have to fully place the item you want, and then change the swatch! it’s a great way to sneak around the no mistake challenge!

I actually liked the house, and I loved to watch you building it. I think you are a perfectionist, and sometimes I like when you do certain things, but then you keep changing them. So yeah, it was fun
Start with terrain paint first when doing this challenge, you can sketch out the floor plan and then any terrain paint whoopsies become flower beds 😅

I kinda actually dig this house. I thinks it's partially the floorplan and partially that it seems so real and authentic. Like you said, some things but get moved around if you live there and sometimes you do place furniture in front of your windows in real live as well.

its kinda funny how that would be realistic in real life, at least when it comes to build mode. sometimes i wish in sims 5 youd have to actually get contractors and wait for furniture ordered to arrive, it would be kinda fun :D love your videos and energy so much simsie
