The "male" as you read it, actually does say "Mole" xP just an odd font choice for it so can see how you read it as that but yes it does indeed say Mole.
Looks like it has potential but as with all these things it also depends on the potential cost which there's no mention of anywhere that I can see. In the FAQ under, Can I download my avatar? It says "YES, Reblium Pro will allow you to export your avatar as an FBX file format including joints and facial blendshapes." So it looks like they are already thinking about a tier system. I wish these kind of projects would be more upfront and at least give a rough estimate on what they are considering for cost as it puts me off even bothering to try out things like this that could end up being way above what I would be willing spend anyway.
@@epicjonny155 Yes from that it looks like they are either planning on having tiered software so maybe they will have a free version and a pro version but the free version will be limited on some things like type of export options, or worse they are thinking about having a tiered sub system. Either way without having any idea of cost it makes people wary of testig it or investing any time into it. Not sure how you can compare it to Vroid though, that app is just for making a very specific style of low poly anime characters.
Yeah, i’m expect it to be outrageously “predatory”. Especially knowing it has A/I/ generation in it. It’s going to be stupidly high and will kill any hype (if there was any to begin with) almost immediately.
Considering that two of the pre-sets are 'Na'vi from Avatar' and 'Abe Sapien' I'm guessing that their training dataset isn't properly licensed. I wouldn't go anywhere near this thing.
Tried it and it's not well optimized. There is no reason it chugs so much power from my machine when I can play Hellblade 2 with no issues. Needs better optimization.
Yeah, I tried this and I agree. It has potential but is too early to be usable right now, at least for me. Which is fine as it's early days, it's just a bit of fun to muck around with. One plus is that it can be used offline, at least for now.
Looks promising, but needs a lot of work. I wonder if they will add a clothing/armor designer to it. Also, let's say you want to make a character designer for your game, how much data does this app give? Is it structured so you could do the same thing in your own app? I'd think that should be a option.

Looks fine, but overall they all look like western, early secondlife try-hard eboys/egirls rejects. I'm speaking honestly here and not just to be irritable sounding. It looks "fine", but at the end of the day its super western generic looking and needs furry, anthro beings, anime, slimmer figures, some toon/outline anime shaders, belly/thighs/butt/breasts/ physbone support (if it doesnt have that already), multiple outfit support on import/export, and ability to toggle. Basically it needs to be at least on par with a normal VRChat paid avatar.
@@Vondora I believe this is where AI could fit in. An artist could make a few sketches for the AI to pick up on, then start making the actual product with the artist's style. Lotta references to a "Reblium Pro" in their FAQs. Pretty safe to say they're gonna start charging a subscription for this the moment it's actually a viable product. Hard pass.
I wish the companies would stop rushing out barely functional, pre-alpha ware that people will easily forget to revisit to check if it ever became something useful for production.
I'm not touching it with a 10-foot pole if it has generative AI incorporated into it like this. We in the gaming community should be pushing back against this garbage being pushed into our products.
The ones that use a timestamp always make me shake my head. Very often the time is after the video would have ended. And people think the I in AI stands for Intelligence. 😁

I was laughing hard at this, not even full screen I noticed that said "Mole", not male. LMAO

if it's gonna cost money to even export a character, i might as well keep using vroid or creating characters from scratch on blender

check out Ready Player Me

I know I want a proper swole character

It's still far away from Character Creator 4 offers. And CC4 has perpetual license which is huge.
I bit the bullet and bought cc4
Your terms of service are trash, go shill somewhere else.
These are just character creators like in game right?
can you add custom clothing? can you add lipsync?
Does the exported avatar have blendshapes(shapekeys) ?
when do we get the ai character creator?
this has an option to just describe with text and generate the avatar that way, using AI

Borrow character creation from Biomutant then.
Why don't companies work on stylized character creators? Realism is heavily overrated.
Who's style do they use?
Because realism is unniversal, while Stylized can be anything. Even in anime, a character from Naruto wouldn't fit in Bleach for example.
