Had these for a little over a week now and dear lord the sound is truly glorious. Highs mids and lows all super sharp and responsive all at the same time. Super comfy weight hasn't bothered me, this headset literally makes me want to game more, so good
Hi volume limiter is like a restriction on how loud you can crank i up the volume you should be able to turn it off on the HQ app on your smart phone you have to download take care and stay safe happy gaming

I game on the HD800s on my PC. I currently have the Nova wireless for my consoles. No "gaming headset" has impressed me, ever. However, I am curious about these because its Audeze. That is strong calling the Nova garbage, but I absolutely love that.
I also have the Nova and I think it's really really good. Kinda unfair calling it garbage. Also, feature-wise, the Nova is perfect for console streamers. The DAC is a life saver.
Exactly 300 and limited to one source not cool. Yes it sounds great but at this price point u are paying for features. Hell my penrose has it.That is a dealbreaker for me and i doubt they sound that much better if at all and if they do it’s probably very small. If u didn’t get the penrose I say go for it but if u have the penrose that’s a harder sell.
Actualy bluetooth on headphones in general downgrade the sound qualityso when you truly like music or sounds in general you plug the jack and for pc enjoyer on a sound card if possible
That isn't even my biggest gripe. The console takes priority over the BT when the dongle is in console mode. Meaning if I want to take a break from my gaming for a moment to watch a TH-cam video, I have to physically get up and go to wherever my dongle is to switch modes. It doesn't work that way in PC mode. BT takes priority and will pause the dongle source until I stop the BT source, which is the way everyone would expect it to work. It fucking blows my mind it doesn't work that way in console mode and Audeze intentionally made it that way. A CS agent told me that some people might be annoyed by notifications from their phone interrupting the game audio. I felt like I was talking to a retard. Why would it work one way for PC, switch, steamdeck etc etc and not work the same way with Xbox and playstation. Also their point they made about being annoyed by interruptions, we can all customize our phone settings. What sense does it make to limit the functions of the headset for the customer?

When people say you shouldn't leave things on a charger, they probably mean because it's bad for lithium batteries to be fully charged or fully drained. The recommendation is to have batteries between 20-80% to have it last longer. That's why with most electric cars you can set a charging limit, since you obviously want to have that battery pack last a long time. Phones also have a 'battery protection' feature where it limits the charge to 85%. So if you want to enjoy the battery life on this headset for a long time, I'd advise you not to charge them to 100% and definitely don't keep them on the charger when full :)
s it normal that when I play and turn the volume to maximum...when there are explosions I hear something like a crack in my headphones? but only when I play and not when I listen to music
Got my xbox ones last wednesday. The mute button is my least favorite thing about them. And they do get a little hot after several hours of playing. Wicked Cushions should have aftermarket pads in june. Those things aside, these are like liquid candy being poured in to my ear holes.
I love mine, It's definitely the best wireless headset I've used so far. I've tried so many different headsets and nothing compares to it. I did try the Wicked Cushion ear cups as well but I prefer the stock ear pads, It' still a good option to have if the stock ear pads wear out over time.

Aaron I'm trying to understand what version should I order considering I use both Playstation 5 and Series X. Also I would like to listen movies on my LG CX while having simultaneously my sister on the phone to watch movies together. Is it possible to get both the sources together in my ears while also being able to use the headset microphone to chat?
Well i was going to buy these (Pre order them) For Xbox/PC. Ive spent nearly 2 years saving up to buy a new headset. But in the UK they are £80 more expensive (US $329=£270). Sorry but the cost difference is ridiculous . Thank you though Aaron

Do these actually “rumble” or have some sort of haptics when playing games such as shooters? I am currently using the Razer Nari Ultimate for Xbox specifically because of the haptics and I am trying to find a headset that has that specific feature or something similar to it. I mean, I want to get this headset but if it has that “rumble” from your experience, then it would be the icing on the cake for me!

hey aaron do you have a pc? if not man are you in for a surprise when you get one or a gaming laptop also im more than happy to show you some eq for pc that will blow your mind completely!!! also used your eq its awesome for consoles but when you can I wanna show you an eq that will make your eyes widen, like as if you just cleaned your ears and just heard sound for the first time but unfortunately you will need a pc for the eq im talking about. the unfortunate part is once you hear them on pc its hard to go back to console.
While I'm not sure about the Maxwells until more reviews come out, I am glad I am not the only one that thinks the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless headset sounds like hot garbage. I have some cheap turtle beach headsets that sound better. I would like to see a comparison between the Maxwells and the new Stealth Pros especially since the stealth pros can be tuned from an app.
I bought the steelseries arctis nova pro wired and wireless. Absolutely hated them. I played with the EQ for both for 10 days straight. Its hot garbage. No one can hear me, footsteps in warzone is not even their. I order the ps5 version and have to wait till the end of april or so maybe may-ish.
I have PS5 and yes it definitely works for it as well. Switch the dongle to PC, and be sure to turn up headphones volume in Settings on the Playstation. Sounds great! Spacial surround is actually great on PS5 as well

This is what I've been saying about the SteelSeries brand, they are only excellent when it comes to features but when it comes to sound, they tend to focus way too much on FPS sound signature. Their sound signature is not balance at all, very overrated brand in my opinion when talking about sound which is the most important aspect of a headset.
Leaving shit on the charger does shorten the life of the battery. It shuts charging off and then when the battery naturally drains down it tops itself back off.this is the charge cycle that will ruin the battery prematurely. But you knew you. Built-in batteries have made tons of companies a ton of money from batteries going bad hummmm
I spend so much time and money on headset till I find the light with the maxwells they literally the best out there’s even the nova pro are trash compare to this .
If my calculation is correct your Battery won't hold up for more than 50hrs , it says 80hrs at 80db and my guess is you don't crank it all the way up. I have confirmation from people who have used it past 72hrs (and still going) at 80db so Audeze need to fix this, already returned mine for replacement because the only reason i bought them was for the 80hrs battery

its gets even better when you download the update and you can turn off the volume limiter

Yes, magnetic planar drivers are safe and actually more reliable than dynamic drivers. Use use use these to your heart's content!

Why would you spend all that money to play xbox games? Works great with my ps5, though
