I’ve got a few Honorable Mentions:
• Owen Wilson as Lightning McQueen, “Cars” franchise (2006-): from his lack of racing to his showboating attitude, Wilson drove Lightning McQueen to victory with this red race-car’s performance Ka-chow!
• John Leguizamo as Sid the Sloth, “Ice Age” franchise (2002-2016): this comedic sloth has proved to be more than just a bumbling sidekick, Leguizamo has brought Sid the Sloth’s lisp voice to life as his most memorable voice character.
• Kevin Hart as Snowball, “The Secret Life of Pets” franchise (2016-): Kevin Hart has made it through thick and thin in comedy and this adorable and hilarious white rabbit is one that sticks out the most.
• Bill Hader as Flint Lockwood, “Cloudy with a Chance of Meatballs” franchise (2009-2013): Hader’s performance in this animated film is both inspiring and compelling as Flint tries to prove himself to be a worthy inventor to his father, heroic and heart melting Bill Hader is more than capable.
• Sam Rockwell as Mr. Wolf, “The Bad Guys” (2022): From this all star cast film Sam Rockwell’s voice for Mr. Wolf is both slick and manipulative just like the character himself.

What is crazy is the fact that Robin never took a salary for that role. He just wanted to have something nice and fun for his kids to remember him by.

Robin Williams is still the OG voice actor but Samuel L. Jackson, Eartha Kitt, and Eddie Murphy are favorite's, too.
Patton Oswalt as Remy, The Rock as Maui, Steve Carrell as Gru, and Robin Williams at the Genie are all phenomenal.
Alladin has always been my favorite Disney movie because of the genie. Ever since Robin's death, i can't get it out of my head. A man who was so talented and always trying to make people laugh, was also so sad on the inside. I think about this at least once a week and it makes me so sad. I really hope he has found peace, he absolutely deserves it and thank you for your manic energy and ability to make people laugh. It will never be forgotten!!!! R.I.P.
There should be an Oscar for best voice over and/or motion caption performance category, and every year they can give that year's winner and a retroactive award

@@jaylene.turner6524When I saw "Mulan" in the theater there was a dad sitting in the row in front of us with his son in his lap. The little guy was probably about 2, and every time Mushu spoke he giggled uncontrollably. It was adorable! 🥰

Emperors new grove is an underrated gem!!!! Everyone played the characters perfect and the level of sarcasm from them is legendary!!! I remember seeing this in theaters as a kid and loving it 😊

I've always been fond of Vincent Price's voice as Professor Ratigan.
He was also EPIC on Michael Jackson's song Thriller.

I saw the Mirvish stage play of Disney’s Aladdin. The actor who played Genie got his inspiration from Robin Williams!

Besides Mufasa, James Earl Jones’ vocal performance as Darth Vader in the Star Wars franchise is also one of the most iconic ones in history.

I hate when people say "Stole the show" on main protagonists... Not even on the sidekicks... Like what's the thing of saying "Rango stole the show" on THE "RANGO" movie?

One of the things I love and find very interesting about these videos that focuses on Voice Acting performances and the Voice Actors that pull them off is that no matter which ones are very great, they can never top Robin Williams as Genie in “Disney’s Aladdin”.

As usual I have strong opinions on this list. I would have included Ursula, Olaf, Pumba, Merida, and Princess Tiana. U missed so many. Should have been a top 100!!

Alan Tudyk is one of the most underrated talents in Hollywood.
Vincent Price gave Rattigan a personality that few actors at the time would've given him. The great mouse detective is still a must see whenever I get to spend time with my grand nieces. They're still young enough to appreciate good Disney movies.
Watchmojo should do a Top 100 Celebrity Voice Actor/Actress Performances in Movies video because there are so many great celebrity voice movie performances that deserve more attention.

Two lions, but no Tiger? Surely George Sanders as Sheer Kahn in The Jungle Book should be on the list. In a movie with an embarrassment of riches in terms of the voice cast, the main villain definitely steals the show.

I grew up watching Basil the Great Mouse Detective for a long time and I actually didn't realize Vincent Price was the voice of Ratigan when I gave it a re-watch. And though I havn't seen other films that feature Vincent Price, this the one I remember him from the most, even though its just his voice.

-I am impressed that you pronounced Ralph Fiennes' first name properly. Also: The narrator and the words on the screen said Ralph Fiennes. But, the chapter title said, Rafe Spall. You may want to fix that, if possible.
-Like Scott Weinger, Casey Kasem, Matthew Lillard, and many others, James Wood has chosen to be a lifer when it comes to voicing his (and our) favorite character. I am glad these actors have made the commitment because they really bring their characters to life. And, like Christopher Reeve with Superman, they are purists when it comes to keeping their characters true!
-I never saw Eddie Murphy's Donkey as being dim-witted. it is more like he simply sees the world through different eyes. His brain is wired differently. I have Asperger's Syndome. I'm not saying Donkey has that. Only that I can related to having a brain that is wired differently, since mine definitely is!
-Tom Hanks doesn't act for the paychecks - although I'm sure he enjoys those, too. He does it for the craft. He puts everything he can into his roles and his performances. If the movie wasn't good or the character wasn't good, it wasn't because of Tom Hanks, it was because of the writing, the director, the producers, etc. But, never Tom Hanks, himself. He cares about the craft too much to give anything less than 100%.

Sure, John C. Reilly's portrayal of Wreck It Ralph is great, but you can't leave out the stellar performance by his co-star Sarah Silverman as Vanellope Von Schweetz!
Ironic you mention all that about Tom Hanks when he got his own brother to voice all the merchandise. There is a very subtle difference in voice between Jim and Tom but still. He kind of did deliver a performance for a paycheck
IMO one of the earliest celebrity voice actor performances that also definitely steals the show is Cliff Edwards as Jiminy Cricket in the 1940 version of "Pinocchio". Most people today probably don't know who he is but at the time he was a really popular singer. As for the DreamWorks films on this list, Jay Baruchel as Hiccup in the "How To Train Your Dragon" movies is definitely my favourite.

Some honourable mentions must include Gilbert Gottfried as Yago in Aladdin, as well as Rowan Atkinson as Zazu and Whoopi Goldberg as Shenzi (both in The Lion King).
From Snow White & The Seven Dwarfs to The Rescuers. The casting in those early Disney movies haven’t been well known. The voice actors are recognizable in their early days in other movies from the 1950’s, 1920’s and the 1960’s. The voice casting from The Fox and the Hound to Wish are VERY well known. From Kurt Russell voicing Adult Todd to Chris Pine voicing King Magnifico

Let’s all be honest here: EVERYONE on this list is, more or less, most famous for these roles that were listed in this video. Of course, these actors have done other iconic roles outside of animation, but these are among their most iconic, if not most famous ever
