Your love for this game is utterly insane. I mean that in the best way imaginable. Without people like you, I don't think there would be a D2R to enjoy at all. Cheers Xitmus
🔥Congratz on the lvl5 run.
The diference of lvl6 to lvl5 is huge, not being able to use the Death's Disguise set (Death's Hand Gloves + Death's Guard Sash) made the fight so painful, CBF would reduce the time by 2/3.
+ in level 6 u also would be able to use The +fire/cold ress amulet with also +7% all res, which would make it easier to swap the zerk headgear for a 3os mask with 3 flawed rubys.
Ps.: missed the opportunity to use a super rare rng gem on Gnasher: +3 dex +8 health +10mana +15 some fire/light/cold res.

Why does the last sliver of Diablo’s health take so long? What’s the explanation of the mechanic there?
I believe it is the open wounds and crushing blow aspects. Crushing blow only works to a certain percentage of his health. I also don't think the open wounds will actually kill him either just drain his health that may be a game mechanic. I think at the end it is relying purely on his smite damage.
@@Xtimus open wounds can kill other monsters, I would assume dclone is the same. However, OW damage scales with character level (and the damage is halved for bosses) so I'm guessing it was just really low damage.
@@ebwvanced590 Crushing blow does damage compared with current HP, so at very low HP does nothing. Open Wounds is mainly used to deny monster healing, as for damage, that scales with character level, so in this case is also very low.

I am a bit curious if controller may have been easier for the fight.. since D-pad right auto-chooses rejuv potions from inventory so you could stand there longer and not have to manage pots as stresfully
Nice idea, but for me that's it all. Since it is editor and offline normal mode, the setup is logical and damn basic: get max resist vs fire, live enough to hit a couple of times, let crushing blow work out, no matter how many times you have to die.
It’s much more difficult than it looks and you are making it sound. At the end of the fight you need a lot of luck on Diablo’s skill choices in the moment. Also make sure you have enough skill to be able to keep smiting and refill the potions from the ground / inventory. Both of these things are a must and need to be done consistently and effectively to kill Diablo fast enough before he regains enough health to survive. If not then he just lives forever. Also I don’t see why it matters if it’s offline mode and hero edited. These are all very basic items to find. The shield being the most expensive and probably the most difficult to get. Offline mode has no difference from Online.
@@Xtimus simply because editing means you are setting yourself in perfect conditions, making the level 5 less an issue. Actually the reason why is level 5 is because that's the minimum requirement for the items, specially on the crushing blow item option which is the core of any hard boss kill. I am not saying it is easy skill wise, I am saying given enough time and infinite resources (as given by editor) it will for sure lead to success. Yes, editor kind of takes out the difference between online or offline, totally agree on this.
@@danielandrews3878 I was all hyped looking at all the cool build ideas the top D2R content creators are making and as soon as I noticed that its all edited items from offline it lost a big part of the fun. I love theory crafting builds but what always takes me away from D2 each time I come back is the fact that GG late game builds can take months to farm. I get all hyped and then after 100 runs I remember why I don't grind to make all the fun build ideas I set out to try in the first place...

yes that's an an amazing frenzy combo
I would make the runewords in 2 phase blades or even a cryptic sword. I prefer phase blades they are easier to find

level. if you G-Rush into hell, youll still be below the normal levels. i think 25 or something makes npcs change? might be off, dont recall exactly, but level matters if you make the game despite difficulty.

Can someone explain how he is in hell harogath at lvl5? I thought to do nightmare ancients there was a lvl40 level cap (may have the number wrong) but the cap is there? How has he negated that?
It’s called a glitch rush you can get a level 1 to hell mode if you wanted
just make a char in non-expansion mode, rush through to hell diff, activate expansion.

because crushing blow takes off percent life that's why it drops fast at the beginning, so he had to rely on lvl 5 dmg to finish off the job

@@Xtimus Oh I thought it was like, a glitch forcing the spawn or something my guy - I played D2 when I was a kid so I wasn't sure WTF was going on, I remember having to type netstat in the command line to find the clone

I feel this would be slightly easier using a controller, you could easily fill up the all pots on the belt with on button, not to mention movement and interaction are done independently of each other.

Only regens when you're there with them. Prevent heal is removed when you move too far away or go back to town. When you come back to the fight, as long as you apply pmh right away it shouldn't Regen very much at all.

yeah its says 77 all res thats a 4 socket 45 all res shield with 4 flawed diamonds at 8 all res each =32 +45 all res for 77 total

Season 3 lv96 I was running baals for low levels so they can jump in levels fast asf and I dropped some pots for them and accidentally dropped my cold skiller charm and after getting them from 50 to 70 Deaths_Dream pos wouldn’t give it back and went to trade it in the lobby I WILL NEVER RUN BAALS FOR POS LOW LEVELS AGAIN Gonna drop dirty tps now screw the community

Oh man, this is like nerd (lvl5) going to approach Woman (lvl99) and wins it, due to shire dedication and hard work. This is not just gameplay, its proof that when you truly want something it doesnet matter what lvl you are.
The skill count in the skills tree doesn't match. At lvl 5, it should only be 5 skills total (+1 den of evil).
4 from levels. 6 from all Izzy. 3 from Radament. 3 from Dens. = 4 + 6 + 3 + 3 = 16. He has 16 skill points used. The character was Grushed to Hell and in a party with another character that completed those quests to avoid the experience gain.
Since it's a single player game, he just created it with hero editor. but everything he did is possible except spawning dclone with 1 soj lol
