The gentlemen is lucky that he didn't drop near the traffic. That would have been horrifying.

I can tell you stay off the bridges and roads as much as possible. Slow down to about 30 on the highway when you see the actual road is gone if not be prepared to beg, borrow and steal to fix your vehicle your means of survival.

Don’t even ask for more money. You should have been fixing things all along instead of spending it where it wasn’t supposed to be

Let's send our tax $$$ to Ukraine but not focus on our crumbling infrastructure...

You do realize we've had a D rated infrastructure across America for decades now right? I try to tell people this fact as much as possible. When Beijing Biden announced build back better economists went through the spending and less than 10% went to jobs and infrastructure. Money is always wasted and never spent on the American people.

If you can't get anybody to answer the damn phone for 6 days, how can you expect that they're going to be doing their jobs? So frustratingly typical.

Our gas tax used to go to fixing this kind of stuff.

Easier to close bridge than fix them?

I think those bridges were poorly build in the first place. The rebars are way to low and not properly centered within the concrete.

Always stay clear of heavy trucks when driving under bridges. Less chance of your car being damaged from falling chunks of concrete.

Profoundly stupid advice, given that you would need to impede highway traffic to do so

Wait...you are surprised the urban decay is happening in Detroit?

Come to Miller road bridge in Dearborn. Every single new F150 is driven over. The bridge is 10x worse than that bridge.

City run by democrats for years. No one replied to voicemail for a week. Same problem happened in st.louis county over the last twenty years. Now it’s mostly black almost all democrats and the roads are always trashed vacant property everywhere trash everywhere grass two feet high. Was never like this twenty years ago.
