I mean youre just trying to imitate a cosplay and if the character looks like an asian it should be okay ? Arent asian cosplayer doing the same with european looking characters

It depends on the context really. Is the makeup involved when you’re cosplaying? Are you elongating or taping your eyes? Is the overall effect of your makeup look trying to emulate a character or a race? Is the outfit or aesthetic paired with it the traditional soft, submissive and sexual harmful Asian stereotype? It’s a lot of factors really, but as an Asian person I’d say if a lot of Asians tell you it is then it is.

Asian Fishing is not that. It's not makeup. Is to change various characteristics such as hair color and texture, eye color, skin color, surgery and *MAINLY claiming to be asian*. In addition to using "an Asian theme" in order to sexualize Asians. This isn't Asianfishing it's just cosplay makeup, you dont use it in your everyday, just for cosplay. koreans, chineses and japanese use this make up style and techniques to look like characters.
