Just came across ur channel.. I really enjoy ole cemeteries and Victorian Era..Wales, Ireland, Scotland and England have beautiful stonework and amazing ole graveyards.. and the history is wonderful reading and hearing.. thanks for sharing.. from South Carolina USA..
Thanks for watching and commenting 😊, I'm off to visit St anns church/ cemetery located in mynydd llandegai very soon.
Wales is beautiful indeed. The language, the people, the land. Helo o Efrog Newydd. Hello from New York.
Im so pleased you filmed there and really hope you enjoyed it. So sad to think of how many children and young people are buried there. There is another old cemetery just up the road from there in St Anne's. It has a derelict church with an old graveyard which leads on to a newer part that is still in use i think. I do enjoy a good old graveyard.

@bangordragon1 yeah, I did visit St anns the same day but the weather was awful so im planning on going back again this weekend, the old graves at St anns are very overgrown, Impossible to walk around them like you can in tanysgrafell, but yeah your right the newer section is still in use and a few graves out the front aswell near the road.
11:08 "In memory of John Griffiths, Brynliron, died April 12, 1857 at 35 years of age. Also John his son died November 28, 1885 at 29 months old."
Well done you have good eyes, I struggle to read it. Even though I'm born and brought up in wales I'm not fluent in welsh, I can sit and listen to a conversation in welsh no problem but when it comes to speaking it that's something I've never really done or can do very well. I'm thinking of going to evening welsh lesson to improve on the language soon.
