    What a breath of fresh air to see a demo by a person who can really play! Thank you for your very informative video with the focus on the products. Your playing keeps that theme going because of your relaxed confident vibe throughout.

    I purchased the H7, the 335 style guitar, and for the price, it is unbelievable! Set up out of the box was great. I could have played a gig with it the day I got it. Pick ups are fine, I could get the tones I needed by minor adjustments to my amp.

    Fantastic and thorough review of the Larry Carlton line of Sire guitars! Your playing was impeccable and superb - I very much enjoyed it. It was easy to discern the characteristics you were talking about as you played so flawlessly. It is obvious you have a deep knowledge of the instrument and the competition. I have subscribed to your channel and look forward to viewing all your material. Thank you very much for your high quality and strong work here. Bravo!

    Thanks for the awesome review. Excellent playing also. I just ordered a sire S7. Minimum six month wait list. Almost all Sire guitars are very difficult to get these days- apparently the guitar world is going crazy over them all the reviews are outstanding…. For super high-quality at a very reasonable affordable price --the S7 is in the same class as a fender professional series !

    I recently bought a H7, it is one of the newer ones with the slightly wider 43mm nut, in cherry sunburst. There is no doubt this is one of best bang-for-the buck guitar available right now. I have a guitar setup business and normally expect to have to do some setup on any new guitar I buy, but if I am honest this needed very little tweaking. I did upgrade the hardware to aluminium to reduce the weight ever so slightly. I am trying to resist the GAS that is urging me to get the H7V. Thanks for this great demo - amazing playing by the way.

    Been watching so many of your videos since i discovered your channel! Another great review! Just an observation from the point of view of an amateur guitarist , i would love to have each guitar given a rating from 1-100 100 being the best guitar. The reason for this is that being told a guitar is "great for it's price" really doesn't tell me if it's actually any good. But a rating tells me exactly where it stands in comparison to other guitars. Thanks again for your great content 😊🙏

    Great video and review of these amazing guitars...thanks so much! :) I just received my S7 a couple of weeks ago and have to say, right out of the box, no setting up fiddling or work was required, straight away great action, perfect intonation, electronics feel solid, tremolo solid, stays in tune and the neck feels really nice and the guitar just looks amazing! The only thing i might eventually upgrade will be the pickups, although they sound great, very 'straty', chime like sparkle, I feel they are bit on the thin lack a bit of body lower output side... would you recommend any specific single coil pickups to upgrade to? Thanks again!

    Have do you feel the L7 or H7 compare to an Epiphone ES339 or ES Les Paul pro in terms of quality and comfort?

  • @compucorder64
    @compucorder64 2 ปีที่แล้ว +1

    Unfortunately for me, I bought one of these, the one with the P90 pickups. Looked amazing, tried to play it and it was an instant 'Oh no!' Insta-return. The neck, especially around the first position was horribly misbuilt. A big jagged gap between the neck, binding and fretboard. Felt horrible with rough edges. It was so edgy it hooked onto fibres of clothes. It was also rough underneath, and to a lesser degree on the upper frets. Others have commented on more minor cosmetic imperfections around the binding, tiny paint spatters. So I wonder about the QC of the guitars, especially the necks. Other minor niggles were that the instrument jack was loose. And the guitar is excessively heavy compared to similar models by D'Angelico I played, or Ibanez, Guild and Gretsch too. Really disapointed in Sire. Mine was the worst quality for the price. Maybe if the neck was built properly, it would have been the best for the price. But Epiphone would have been a better choice. Thomann too were just terrible to deal with. Avoid both.

    • @Tyrannocaster
      @Tyrannocaster 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      Bummer! Agree that Thomann is terrible when there's a problem.
      I just got an L7 from Sweetwater and I have to say it's just a homerun; the only thing I did was lower the bridge a bit - that's all. It doesn't need anything else; plays, sounds, and looks great. In fact, surprisingly so. Perhaps you are right about the QC but if so, I got really lucky.

    • @compucorder64
      @compucorder64 9 หลายเดือนก่อน

      @@Tyrannocaster The second one I got was great. And the shop L7s I've tried have also played great too. Although the L7s were still quite heavy, so I got a 90s Gibson Les Paul Studio instead for only about 300 more. The pickups are better, and it's a good weight, not to light, not to heavy. I prefer the nitro finish too.
