Sent this to those that accuse Omar Suleiman of supporting LGBTQ and to those that believe these accusations, including my own sister. Guess what they did in response? They covered their ears and closed their eyes, not even giving him the chance to explain himself in this 2 min long video. They are not only not willing to do Husn al-Dhan, but also rather choose to keep thinking badly of him even AFTER he has made the attempt to clear his name. Mind you that these are the exact same people that repeatedly asked for an explanation directly coming from Yaqeen Institute, which they now got, but still won't let go of their false claims and accusations despite the fact. That is cancel culture at its finest brothers and sisters. And it is a huge shame - considering the fact that even Allah Himself gives everyone chance after chance to make it right again. May Allah guide us all - especially those that claim to be more guided than others but are very wrong about that. Ameen.

Agree ! From my side I learn to take the good and leave the bad and Brother Omar open our eyes and ears and hearts to things no one ever spoke about and made us close to Allah by reminding us of our beautiful Islam and Eman ..Remind them of “JIBREEL” lecture 🤍

I agree with you and am very relieved to watch this video. I was so distraught when all those accusations were floating around. He is one of the ustadha that really facilitated my growth in Islam and strengthened my imam tremendously. May Allah continue to keep us all on the straight path

Omar Sulaiman has done so much for us as Muslim Americans unfortunately there are people in our ummah who only dwell in accusing the scholars or people like Omar sulaiman

Once again, very happy that you made this clear Yaqeen institute, don’t understand why some people were accusing you of supporting this sinful topic

Because some people are obsessed with refuting people and trying to get clout but if you were to look at their deeds you would see a dumpster fire. May Allah guide us all and free us from arrogance.

Because they regurgitate the same source without thinking. All these allegations stem from an ex employee who twists and distorts the words of Yaqeen, basically what Islamaphobes do to the Quran.

Very well said I feel like our ummah is not educated enough on this topic!
So some people go to the extremes of fully supporting it and making it seem halal, and other people go to the extremes of mistreating those people, which also shouldn’t be done.
We shouldn’t treat sinners differently and look down on them, because that is their test from Allah, rather we should pray for them to make it easy to turn back to the right path.

Beautifully said Sheik!!! Thanks be to Allah SWT for the knowledge and the message that he has enabled you to provide to us regarding the Quran - the legal ways of Islam, and the peaceful means by which true to heart Muslims choose to live amongst people of all traits, faiths, colors, etc. This lecture makes me think of, probably a Sunna or it could be a Hadith (I can't remember which right now), where it is mentioned that "you may like something that is bad for you or you may dislike something that is good for you" and how it all breaks down to being tested by Allah SWT. Can we avoid the things we like that are bad for our relations with our Maker? Can we do the things we do not like so much that are incumbent on us as Muslims? And, we are ALL tested in so many areas of our lives, all of the time, whether we know it or not. May Allah SWT continue to bless you and all at the Yaqeen Institute for the hard work to spread the beautiful message of Islam. And, may our Rub bless all Muslim Brothers and Sisters across the Globe, Ameen.

DAILY DHIKR TO REMEMBER ALLAH (SWT)
SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi, Subhan-Allahi 'l-`adheem (Glory be to Allah, and Praise, Glory be to Allah, the Supreme)
Prophet Muhammad (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "Two words are light on the tongue, weigh heavily in the balance, they are loved by the Most Merciful One." [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:67, Sahih Muslim, #4:2071]
    2. Whoever says SubhanAllahi wa biHamdihi (Glory be to Allah and Praise Him) a hundred times during the day, his sins are wiped away, even if they are like the foam of the sea
    [Sahih al-Bukhari; #7:168, Sahih Muslim; #4:2071]
Abu Dharr reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Shall I tell you the words that Allah loves the most?" I said: "Yes, tell me, O Messenger of Allah." He (peace and blessings be upon him) said: "The words dearest to Allah are: subhanAllah wa bihamdihi”. [ Muslim and at-Tirmidhi.]
    3. La Hawla wa la Quwatta illa Billah (There is no Might or Power except with Allah)
    [the above is] a treasure from the treasures of Paradise.[Sahih al-Bukhari; al-Fath al-Bari #11:213, Sahih Muslim #4:2076]
4.SubhanAllah, walHamdulilah, wa La illaha ilAllahu, waAllahu Akbar (Glory be to Allah, All Praise is for Allah, There is No God but Allah, Allah is the Greatest)
The above are mentioned as the four most beloved words to Allah. It does not matter with which one of them is begun.[Sahih Muslim; #3:1685]
Abu Sa`id (may Allah be pleased with him) reported that the Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) said, "Perform the enduring goods deeds (al-baaqiyaat al-SaliHaat) more frequently." They asked, "What are these enduring good deeds?" The Prophet (salAllahu alayhi wasalam) replied: Takbir [Allahu Akbar], Tahlil [la ilaha illallah], Tasbih [Subhan'Allah], alhamdulillah, and la hawla wa la quwwata illa billah.
    A
