This song reminds me of the 1997 NBA Western Conference Finals. Five HOF's (Hakeem Olajuwon, Clyde Drexler, Charles Barkley, John Stockton and Karl Malone) battling in 6 hard fought games until Game 6 the Stockton game winner to put the icing on the cake on one of the best conference finals in history.
Oh yes I remember that so well at only 13 years old and also in the Spring of 2009 at 25 years old finding the intro to Game 6 on TH-cam of that great series. NBC and Ebersol and all the crew had such an eye for detail and majestic magical intros for their sports coverage in the 90s. Hard to see anything ever topping it all again.
I'm a special Olympics athlete and I was going in to my senior year of high school when I watched the 1996 Olympics I met Olympic gold medalist Amanda beard and I've got shirts signed by Gary Hall Jr he's amazing they've inspired me I'm almost 38 and I'm a special Olympics world summer games gold and silver medalist and they've inspired me but special Olympics gave me my dreams.
