Phantasialand has some unhinged rides embeded in insane theming. Taron is insane, F.L.Y is amazing, Colorado Adventure is demented, Black Mamba is intense as hell, Winjas is just plain fun.
Taron at night is the world's greatest rollercoaster experience in the world. You can't change my mind. This made Taron my #1 rollercoaster. And I used to be a big Taron critic calling it overrated as hell, I was so wrong.
I was there yesterday. it was my first time in a park with rollercoaster and i didn't know the perfect ride to start with, and it happened to be taron. And i was feeling that im gonna die. the spining and the g-force is insane. but the ride itself feels unsecure. like compared to fly or black mamba. taron feels like you can fly off the chair at any moment. i liked the ride. i didnt like the "safety feeling" of it. it was the same with the Colorado Adventure.
Definitely one of the best reviews of Phantasialand I've seen so far. Really nice!!! I wonder if it would be better to spend a week there or Epic Universe next year.
I was contemplating a Nov trip but wasn't sure what ops would be like. Thanks for showing me! The park is in full swing during Winter. Also, I think you walked by one of the friends of Coaster Studios coming out of Rookburgh at night 🤔
24:00 That's "Grünkohl" (Kale) [ideally with fried onions, whole peppercorns and some "hearty fried meat"] with potatoes (which should be separate instead of mixed with the Kale). This is obviously a hearty winter dish ... but you lack mustard to make it complete.
If I had to visit just one theme park outside North America, it would have to be this one. It has theming to it that both Disney and Universal wishes they had. You should revisit in the spring or summer time to check out Chiapas and River Quest. They might be two of the best log rides and river rapids (respectively) that you'll ever ride.
With Disney basically dismantling / SABOTAGING its own parks ... the whole "North America" part isnt that special anymore (Universal isnt done building yet) ... and if you take a look at the ticket / Hotel pricing, it might actually be feasible to do that trip to Phantasialand instead ... on the same budget.
TYSM for sharing your experience and advice! This park is on my bucket list! One question though, How do we get the Fast Passes/Skip the line passes? The website says that no ticket booths are in the park and to purchase entry tickets online but where do we purchase the fast passes? And it is for one time only on each ride? Did you need two passes for the night ride? Also, is the park always open after dark? I thought they closed early, even in the summer. TYIA!
I've been to phantasialand but I haven't tried the fastpass. However, If i remember well it might be on the app, i'm gonna check and edit my comment when I figure it out ! You can buy fast pass for one ride on the major rides, or you can buy for two person / two rides depending on how you want to spend it. It's cheaper when you buy fast pass for two obviously. The park has great operations so it is rarely a big pain to wait but it tends to be crowded on busy days as all parks are. The park opens usually from 9 to 18, but note that the immense majority of the rides open at 10 so that's a bit weird cause you have to wonder in the park for one hour before actually being able to ride anything, and 10 is already late imo, but as it is a farely small park compairing to europapark / eurodisney you can do everything in one day and not missout on any experience if that's not too crowded. I'm not sure when it has late openings ... someone who is more used to the park will surely correct me. I've been to some parks already and I work as a designer for the theming industry and I have to say that this is one of the best parks I've been to ! You can find unique experiences and classic concepts mastered and pushed further everywhere in this park, in the theming and in the ride themselves. Definitely a go to if you like thrill rides ! EDIT : there s apparently a Service office where you can buy Quick pass tickets ! 10€ for the "basic rides" (quick pass) / 20€ for the Major rides (quick pass plus). The two types of tickets offer 2 rides or 1 ride for 2
If you’re headed to Wuze town, the last building on the left in Berlin is where you need to go. It usually has a cart with park plans and a staff member right in front. Just ask the staff member for the quick passes and he’ll show you inside!
It usually closes around 6pm, but during Wintertraum/Winterdream they extend the opening times and also it gets dark early. Traditionally all German theme parks have season from April 1st to October 31st. Phantasialand was the first to "dare" to break with that tradition (thankfully)
Disney used to be better, but the euro parks really caught up. Phantasialand back in the 90s barely had any coasters, but they added so much stuff in the past 18 years or so that it is now pretty known, and the theming has ALWAYS been crazy good there, even when they did not have the coasters.

Taron is insane, F.L.Y is amazing, Colorado Adventure is demented, Black Mamba is intense as hell, Winjas is just plain fun.
And then you also have flatrides like talocan and water rides like chiapas. It's just crazy how many good attractions they have.
Thank you for showing me favorite park hope you enjoyed it.
I did! Thanks for your support!
Taron at night is just another level
Brilliant parc! The theming here is just WOOOW😮
Great video, thank you👍
FLY at night looks awesome.
This video makes me so happy seeing you experiencing my favorite park for your first time😁 so glad you loved it!
Also not enough Janek content
🤔😆
First review video of the park with the night rides and show ...
Visiting Efteling this summer for several days, but would like to visit Phantasialand another time.
You should!
You have to and right now you can get tickets for ~30€.
I'm going next year and I can't wait I'm so excited to go there thanks for the great footage 😁🫡
Have fun! Thanks for the support!

Thanks for watching!
Love the music they play in the Rookburgh Area.
They have it on Spotify! Wish more theme parks did that..
My #1 park in the entire world.
That's awesome!
I think you made the Rookburgh Expierience and stay at the Hotel Charles Lindberg cause of using the Fly entrance for the Hotel guests.
Another great update, thanks!

24:00 The food you did not know what it was was kale.
21:44 its me ^^ love watching Phantasialand VLOGs looking for myself or colleagues I know
Hi Dan, did you get to ride Chiapas? (Intamin)
It's one of the best log flume for me. Incredible theming and catchy music!
15:26 No water comes down from the last drop. So it was probably closed that day.
@@ungesagt I thought they stayed overnight and spent 2 days at the park. I didn't know there was a park entrance near Hotel Ling Bao
Is it the Phantasialand near Köln?
It is in Brühl
@@KiriaTheLombaxTH-cam so yes
Im about 195cm tall and 100kgs. Are there many rides I wont be able to use ?
that multi move is crazy
25:07 what a freaking legend on the right side 😉
10:05 Geister Rikscha was long before pirates of the Caribbean

We are so silly to think that we have the best theme parks...
