I really don't understand this. Not that I've ever heard any white person say this but IF I heard someone say "all white men are beautiful, slayyyyy hunny" that would not make feel good about myself. Cause it's stupid. Belonging to a certain race or gender has absolutely nothing to do with your worth or value as a person. And inherent in the claim that there is particular value represented by particular races or genders, is the belief that the category you fit into DOES determine your worth. If being a black woman makes you good, then it could also make you bad. If black women are good, then why aren't latino or white men bad?
Supporting the narrative that you're beautiful because you are a black woman supports the narrative which all racism is based up - that you can ascribe worth to people based upon the category they fit into.
So whenever there is black pride, there has to be room for white pride. And whenever people invest in the idea of black or white pride they simultaneously invest in the idea that racism is justified.
