Making it into a powder is the hard part, so I'll have my bride do that. 😁 That's something new to me not that I know much about food preparation. Perhaps it is a Thai thing. Best wishes Bob.
I guess that would be similar to rice flour only toasted. I never bought it guess I never had a use for it .A Spice/Coffee grinder might work well and make it a bit easier.
I’m sure you’ve noticed from all the watches lately here and on lifeinthailand, and you may not remember me cuz I didn’t comment much and I also commented from another channel account often, but I’M BAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAACK
Hmm.... I'm thinking sticky rice is full of gluten (which would make it sticky). Damn you Paul! Now I'm going to have to see if there is a difference between rice flour and rice powder.
"In most recipes, unless specifically stated, Rice Flour and Glutinous Rice Flour should not be used interchangeably. The flours have very different textures, cook very differently and yield very different results. Rice flour is closer to wheat flour and yields a cake-like consistency whereas Glutinous Rice Flour yields a sticky and chewy texture suitable for dumplings or foods that don’t require much structure." Your sticky rice flour makes an excellent thickener - which makes perfect sense with your dipping sauce.
Looking forward to seeing more of these, very interesting
Thank you, glad you liked it.
Thanks for all the super rad videos 💖💖💖💖💖💖💖
Thank you.
I drink a green genmai cha tea with toasted rice.. I love the flavor.
Had to look that one up, they use brown rice, learn something new every day.

Yes great .. thankyou both !!
Thank you.
I have made it only once, with normal jasmine rice, and I think it was good.
I would expect it to be the same, but here I have to follow the rules, sticky rice it is.
Cool
Thanks
That sounds tasty 😋
Oh it is...lol

I was just the camera man in this one, and it is a Thai thing, mostly Northeast Thailand I think.
I was thinking that. I noticed finger nail polish and I'm sure it wasn't your color. 😁💅 Have a great evening,

Not like rice flour at all, if you go that fine, you have gone too far. This is the triditional way to make it, a spice grinder would be a lot easier.

Glad your back.

Slow and steady, 1 a day average.
What do you use the rice powder for? How is it used?
Spicy dipping sauce video coming on Monday.

This is not flour, I think you can use any rice to make this but its not flour.
@@catfishkitchen4203 From everything I can find, it is just less refined/powdered/crushed. Not saying that I'm right though.
