Interesting, great topic. Really worth discussing as no one else seems to have ever done. I am a long-time vet but appreciate that you touched on these other visual indicators I’m less familiar with. Thank you.
Thanks for all the information Jimmy. I was wondering if you could do a video about shorting. When should we consider shorting and how should we start building a short position? As we all know from past experiences the market can stay irrational for a long period of time, does this carry more risk than just taking a long position in the market?
I believe that you are interpreting the orders wrong. You say the bigger mountain shows the order type and quantity. However, I've watched several stocks with the larger mountain. Those don't seem to match the inflow and outflow below.
Red means the price has dropped from the previous number. Green is it increased. White is stayed the same. If you look at the lvl 2 in this video, including the thumbnail photo, it shows the colors correspond to the previous number.
Are you sure it is for US citizens only? I think it is for US residence. Probably Green Card holders can use moomoo. But a U.S. citizen living out side of the U.S. could not use moomoo.
This is a great point, and I should have clarified this better. So, I believe what you are referring to is market orders. Sticking with your example, If YOU wanted to buy DIS stock, you'd buy the Ask (if we place a market order). If YOU wanted to sell DIS, you'd sell the Bid (again, if we place a market order). BUT… If YOU wanted to buy DIS stock (and place a limit order), you'd BECOME the BID. You are the investor bidding to buy DIS. If YOU wanted to sell DIS (and placed a limit order), you'd BECOME the ask. I apologize I didn’t clarify this better. The key to the way I explained it or even your example is... are we talking about market orders or limit orders. Your example used market orders my example used limit orders. But again, I regret not clarifying this better in the video. Hopefully, this clears up my thought process a bit. And Thanks for the Support and the Feedback!

Yeah, I keep reporting them, but YT doesn't seem to do anything about them. :(
That was the best explanation of level two mountains… about what is good and what is bad! Thank you so much I appreciate it.
The editing in this video was really good. Great job and great info thanks a lot
From Switzerland here.... daaaaamn I have to say Moomoo looks so goood! Wish I could have it.
And thanks for the video Jimmy, it's awesome!

I used the moomoo link. Thanks for all the great videos!
Thanks Jimmy!!
So are inflows transactions at the ask price and outflows transactions at the bid price?
Everyday is a beautiful day to talk about investing
Wish I started earlier.

But what are the percentages going left and right under the Bid-Ask ?
Great job sir, thank you for the information!
Wow, excellent video. I learned a lot. Thanks!
So how does MooMoo (or anyone else) break down what counts as a XL, L, M, and S order?
Jimmy! Where you been?
Hey can you do a dive into Blackrock? Thanks.
How is the net inflow calculated?
I like moomoo but is there something similar free also for computer and not only as app only?

Why are some numbers red and green on the bid/ask?
Red means the price has dropped from the previous number. Green is it increased. White is stayed the same. If you look at the lvl 2 in this video, including the thumbnail photo, it shows the colors correspond to the previous number.
Great video

🌞☕️☕️☕️☕️ Thank you !
I guess it is better to make the market order and go do something else rather then waste time trying to save a dime on a share.
Yes, if you are an investor.
No, if you are a trader.
Or do a limit order, good till canceled, and go about your business. It will either get filled or it won't.
I NEEED my FREEE Lv2 Back, Webull!!
You explained the Bid/Ask confusingly. If YOU wanted to buy DIS stock, you'd buy the Ask. If YOU wanted to sell DIS, you'd sell the Bid.
That's right. You sell on the bid and buy on the ask.
Man I thought the same. You are right. Jimmy if you can correct this.
