I'm really high on Raora and CC this gen. Raora's giggles are life. She really does have the Ina but with energy vibe. CC has this sarcastic Strait face thing going on that i'm really liking. Gigi- I've never been a big gremlin person. I like the energy they add to group stuff but there solo stuff is no my cup of tea. Liz is great, but I don't see me watching much more then clips and her music videos.
I'm liking this group more then Advent. While know one will replace Ina as my Oshi I will watch Raora and CC more then i've watched others after the first week. Plus they have good times for me.

My opinion hololive girls will always have the 100k subs before or after debut or come close or surpass 200k subs after debut watch next gen because hololive always do a new jp or ID branch month after a new en branch. Also, remember, regloss they had surpass 100k 2 or 3 times before debut because youtube was cutting their subscribers. Council would all be a 1 million subscribers right now if youtube didn't cut their subscribers.
As for justice members hololive proved like they did with advent is that there looking for the best of the best you have to be talented at one of these to at least get a chance to join hololive singing,gaming,streaming entertaining for a certain audience.

Don't even know where to start, this Holo Justice was an absolute surprise coming from nowhere but goddamn Hololive doesn't disappoint. From Liz, Cici, Gigi and Raora all of them are absolute catch for Hololive even more so for the EU bros.

100k subs/views pre/during debut became a thing because Hololive has become that much of a strong brand name. You become a member then it's basically a sign to your potential audience that you're going to be a talented streamer/idol on some level. So long as Cover Corp continues doing what they're doing then I see it becoming the norm for their talents really.

advent also has the advaantage that people were waiting for them literally 2 years, whereas Justice came out in less than a year.

I agree i wish they'd given them a bit more of a build up like they did with previous Gens - but these 4 are so freakin impressive they probably didn't need to. No need to advertise them, their skills as streamers and performers speak for themselves.

I dont watch hololive but I do show up for new debuts, I was more hype for justice than advent because they are European and I'm European.
The reason I stopped watching hololive was entirely because of the streams not being in my timezone, they weren't at all hitting the demographic and taking advantage of the European timezone with anyone other than kiara which never made sence to me
I hope this wave is able to show cover that more European members would be a good thing

In my opinion, Cecilia is actually the prettiest but I paradoxically don't have any sexual attraction to her, and i don't think her design is cute in the innocent kind of way, but more in the "mystical great tree in the middle of the enchanted forest" kind of way

Advent released after more than 2 years of no hololive new gen, paired with the current gens experiencing dramatically less activity from some members for a long time, so the demand was extremely high which explains the bigger viewer ship and subs.
But we also seriously needed more EN vtuvers that streamed at reasonable EU timezones, this is the first time i could watch an unarchived karaoke live without sacrifying sleep and i love it.
I think the 2 year gap was a very huge factor that raised Advent's hype.
Nothing against Myth and Council, but to be completely honest, I think my interest in them already started waning several months before Advent's debut.
Compared to the current situation, I love that Justice is here, but I'm still very much invested in Advent's activities right now.
I completely agree with EU timezones.. I mostly stopped watching hololive because of the lack of members streaming what I'm interested in when I could watch live.. This gen may pull me back in holo direction once again
Yeah the fact that they’re very Europe focused does seem almost like a deliberate choice. It almost makes me wonder if they were part of the same set of auditions as Advent and they specifically grouped the two sets together based on which ones would make a good generation set.
@ransan honestly I never really got into myth or promise. I'd tune in occasionally and listen to the music but otherwise advent was the one that made me like really really into hololive.

Holojustice or better yet holoEU did extremely well, all their debuts were fantastic. Elizabeth and her insane voice, Cecilia and her languages, Raora and her -assets- artistic skills. And then Gigi, the American angus beef gremlin.

It's good to see that they had such a successful debut despite being the 4th gen already. EU bros really needed this gen and we asked for it for a long time. Thanks Yagoo (and Kiara for probably pushing for it). I absolutely agree that Cecilia is super fun to watch, especially since she pretty much became the war criminal of EN shortly after her debut. She does not abide by the law, she is the law.

If you know anything about their PL than these girls deserve the recognition they are getting within the Hololive community. The community has embraced them with open arms and has showed each of them what it is like to be in Hololive. As long as nothing goes wrong they will have long healthy careers in the VTuber scene for as long as they want it to last.

Elizabeth is actually a childhood star for most 16-30 fans because of her PL most popular original song in FNAF. So she was carrying MLP, FNAF, BRONY, Fanfic fandom that had very very large circles. So adding that with vtuber fandom, Elizabeth is the big addition version of Justice like for Advent's Nerissa, Hope's Irys, Council's Kronii, and Myth's Gura.
Don't forget her appearance in almost every other abridged series in the early 2010's. 😂😂😂 (Oh yeah, and I GUESS all her industry VA work too...)

Elizabeth actually interacting Stars is so nice after what it seems like Advent avoiding guys at all cost because of fear of the unicorns. Shiori interacted with Flayon but that quickly got squashed. Liz doesn't care and has been going into their chats and talking on twitter. As Bettle said "it's the little things".
And to be fair Stars has been doing decent for the Spanish speaking market with Hakka and Gibby.
I get the feeling Liz largely does what she wants when she wants, and management has to keep up.

I think the main issue was that Justice was a clearly europe focused gen and they scehduled the debuts when europe was fast asleep. Debut numbers will always be supressed if you have a target audience and then choose the exact worse time for that audience for debuts.
Yeah. I agree that it was definitely not a great move, but as MOST people have pointed out: debuts are kinda useless beyond hype these days. They're the first brief flash you get of a talent that isn't always 100% accurate (if at all) to how the talent will be. Especially in Hololive, there is a LOT less interaction with chat, and just more focus on getting the information out there. It's fun to catch the debut live, but you basically get the same experience watching the vod and even highlight clips.
However, once the debut was over, they started streaming at more EU friendly times, and THAT'S where they build their audience. Cover KNOWS this fact! This is why the debut comes at a time that's best for JP time (where, surprise surprise, most of the company's investors and execs are), so they can monitor the hype and branding, make sure they don't commit ANY faux pas the media might latch onto, and show their investors how they are managing their "overseas products". In short, it's actually a very SMART move from a business and marketing perspective. Look at how their numbers have grown SINCE their debut! I'd be willing to bet a good chunk of those are EU subs, based on their chats...
@@yeshevishman true, but the scheduling also communicates an element of intent. I'd basically written them off as soon as the announcements and schedule for debuts came out because the time they chose communicated to me that once again European timezones were not the target audience. It's only be chance I've since caught up again.
It may have looked good for investors but they probably lost people who saw the announcement, thought it was another gen they won't be able to watch and didn't bother to check them out again.
Also it wasn't binary between JP and EU, there are time slots that are in reasonable hours for both regions. They're in the middle of the night for North America but it would have then communicated effectively to both the investor audience and the target fan audience.
@@hdruk1IMO it was less for investors and more so that they get as many eyeballs on the new debuts as possible. It can't be denied that most vtuber fans are either in the Asian region or in the NA region. Their usual debut times are friendly to both timezones, but unfortunately leaves EU out to dry. Also iirc most Holo managers are in Japan, so there's that to consider. I think the latter point is the more important one btw, having management look out for their talents is important. IIRC Tsukumo Sana debuted at a shxtty hour for her timezone too, so it's not a deliberate nelgect of EU bros.
Raora has done models from some of the larger indy v-tubers out there like Zentreya, and Captain Hannah. Holo scored big with her i think.

It was a SURPRISE for most of us, they said they would focus on the established gens so we thought it wouldn't be a new one so soon...
From the way it was worded in the actual document, it seemed pretty obvious they still had a few more gens in the tank that had already been accepted but hadn't debuted yet. We're still expecting at least ID4 as they had auditions last year.
This gen open a blackhole in the existing rabbit hole first because i'm italian.

I've always been... Hololive adjacent. Fubuki got me into the vtuber rabbithole... and I kept an eye on Calli because I liked her music... but I mostly hangout on twitch and in that sphere. Erb is possibly the first time i've been downright floored by a debut. Our queen's pull is strong enough that it actually keeps pulling me over to youtube. That's a BIG first for me.

Holo isn't forging a path in the wilderness with a couple of friends from the arcade and a dream anymore. Each of them are all proven talents with lots of material. They're all going to hit, maybe not spectacularly, but given each of their abilities and qualities, will at least have dedicated viewerbases.
I still have a firm belief Cover is big enough now they can try for more literal nobodies and still help them unlike a certain other company that claims they do.

I went into Raora's debut expecting Koyori or Fubuki like voice so I was a little surprised when it turned out different. But then when I heard ABOVE BELOW and her Hibana cover, it clicked, she is EN Towa sama. She has the model of a pink woman, voice of Towa sama, can draw like Ina, has the slightly dry humor of Flare, has cat ears and is Pon like Miko?
