I have a Phoibis diver and love it. And I really do like this one, the dial is gorgeous, don't mind the date and I will never complain about the NH35 movement. I'd put this on a black leather strap !
I've never been a big fan of Phoibos but this one is really nice. I have been moving my collection more to vintage and vintage style watches, so that and the dial on this with the faux-tina look amazing. May have to consider adding this one.

this design never made much sense to me for a dive watch. you have to unscrew the crown to set it. so if you are in a wet environment, or your hands are wet you can't set it safely. it's also impossible to adjust once under water. a bezel makes a lot more sense.
A bit Omega a bit Sinn with those syringe hands. Bummer is the white date disk, instead of lolipop second habd I'd go with square second hand to match minute and hour hands. Clasp is nice, like it.
That date does kind of stand out especially with the sand markers ... don't think it would as much on other colorways with white indices ... plus I would prefer it to be at the six instead of the three o'clock position. I was just on their website and think I would go with the red dial - especially with the white date wheel.

today the season of discounts can be bought for 350 dollars a very good Seiko, I somehow even saw in one provincial wallmart at a discount of Seiko 5 for 30 dollars !!!!
