It's good for them, but it sucks on a creative level as all projects, big or small, require capital investment, meaning we likely will never see truly outlandish ideas or projects ever again with an existing intellectual property.

Years and years later, I still think it's crazy that an officially licensed Nintendo product took the Biblical Old Testament story of Samson and made it about Donkey Kong. I'm disappointed he didn't beat anyone to death with the jawbone of a donkey, but maybe that would have confused viewers.
I really like that Dunkey is laughing about that being Dixie while she looks like she is about to cry. Like she can hear his mockery. Also, Donkey Kong's sad song is too good for this show.

Just then, Diddy tells DK "hey here's a banana we haven't tried!" (in hopes of finding one that cures DK) and after eating it DK's hair grows back. So. Was it the right banana after all, or did spilling the potion affect it unbeknownst to them? Did it make the banana appear or did they just overlook it? Was the potion spilled close enough to do that? How could any of them not know they were near each other? It's like they came up with two different story resolutions and decided to just use both of them.

Dunkey combined the episode "Bad Hair Day," which is where all the Sampson stuff comes from and "Kong for a Day," in which we learn how everyone actually hates DK and was just waiting for an excuse to banish him to the top of a mountain until they realize he's actually the only one who does anything useful and decide to put up with his bullshit out of necessity.

Fun Fact: actually knew bout the show before this video or when it went kinda viral. and, yes, it weirded me out. and i wasnt a child, i just found it on tape or something lol
Candy and Bluster are trying to find DK to give him Cranky's potion to do the job, but then Bluster deliberately spills it on the ground to sabotage DK. Just then, Diddy tells DK "hey here's a banana we haven't tried!" (in hopes of finding one that cures DK) and after eating it DK's hair grows back.
So. Was it the right banana after all, or did spilling the potion affect it unbeknownst to them? Did it make the banana appear or did they just overlook it? Was the potion spilled close enough to do that? How could any of them not know they were near each other? It's like they came up with two different story resolutions and decided to just use both of them.
