Electrostar is my fav train family
Train operator c2c are having 6 class 387/3s. They are expected to enter service between October and December this year between London fenchurch street and shoeburyness.
The gangways make them look like a modern 421.

in South African this has been rebranded as a psuedo-bullet train with a more aerodynamic front end...
My washing machine sounds identical to the deceleration sounds of electrostar motors. I sometimes think I forgot to turn of train simulator.
Are the 357s a electro star or turbostar?
357s are indeed electrostars, just with the body shell of a turbostar.
