This is beautiful! I wish I would’ve watched DIY tutorials when my daughter was younger! She is 7 now she has a nice length of hair! I remember when she was around 3 or 4 my mother and I took her and my niece to a kiddie spa. They polished their toes and fingers; as they were prepping to style my daughter they told us they wouldn’t be able to style her because her hair was to short!! I was literally heartbroken for her, my baby was crying because she wanted her hair styled too. My mother let them style my niece’s hair so I know it hurt seeing her cousin hair done and hers wasn’t! I must’ve drove to 5 different salons I was told either it was by appointment only or her hair was to short. After that I let my cousin style her hair regularly! I always credit her for helping my baby hair grow healthier!! Since she is older I try to watch diy videos to learn different styles for my baby!!

Again another lovely style. I would never have thought to use yarn how ingenious. Wish I had known that years ago. My daughter had the same texture and hair length. Now she has a head full of hair at 22. You should have a business just for kids especially children that have issues with hair growth or biracial kids. I see some kids hair their moms need to be ashamed to have their kids looking like they dont wash their hair. Good job.

I recently started watching my 2 year old biracial niece (plus another niece and nephew) who is now with my mom, as my sister was not taking care of her children. I tried to wash and comb her hair which probably hadn't been done in at least a week, and I realized I had no idea what I was doing as my own daughter has silky blonde hair. I bought some hair products and watched some TH-cam tutorials and will attempt again today.

Beautiful hair style! I want to try on my daughter, but she won't sit still at all. Nothing works. No phone, tv nothing. I just feel bad because it looks like i don't care for her hair, but i do. How did you get her to sit their so perfectly? Also how long does the edge control last?
Don’t worry mama she will come around . 🤭 the edge control can last about 4 to 5 hrs

Angela Friday Akpan maybe you are not using the right products. That happened with my daughter. She was born with a lot hair and by 6 months most of it had fallen out. It was so bad I had to cut what was left. The front had grown so long it looked weird! She 11 months now and her hair starting growing back when I changed what I was using. Just keep it simple. Nothing heavy that will clog the scalp. Use penetrating oils like avocado or grape seed. Wash it only once a week and use a good leave in conditioner. Also use a satin pillow or bed sheet. I noticed that my daughter rubbed her hair a lot and that dried her hair by the morning. Hope that helps
