- NEW YEAR Walmart Grocery Haul & Meal Plan 2024! | NEW grocery items at Walmart
Homemade Creamy Hot Chocolate
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup unsweetened cocoa powder
3 cups milk
1 cup heavy cream
1/2 cum semi-sweet chocolate chips
1 tsp vanilla
Directions:
Whisk sugar & cocoa powder until well blended and clumps are gone.
Heat sugar & cocoa powder mixture with milk and cream over medium heat until it begins to steam.
Reduce the heat to low.
Add the chocolate chips and cook on low until they are melted. Stir often.
Once chips are melted add the vanilla and serve.
Top with whipped cream or mini marshmallows!

Up here in Ontario we had a green Christmas. Loads of rain and fog but no snow. I’m good with it. I know it’s coming but I will embrace the lack of for now. ❤😂

We are born, raised, and lived our whole lives in Maine and still get so excited at first snowfall every year. It's beautiful!
I tried the Real Good chicken nuggets at supper tonight and the WERE real good. Had rice and zuccini blend on the side.
To really elevate your hot chocolate, add a pich of salt to the pot! The chocolate really blooms!
We have the same reaction to snow flurries in Southern California desert totals😁it’s a big deal sometimes!

I always buy those Real Good chicken nuggets. I cook them and put Buffalo sauce on them and make a Buffalo chicken salad with them or a wrap. They are soooooo good!! ❤

Happy Friday my sweet family & everyone. Gosh, this year is almost gone . 2024 is just in a couple days , we always watch the big apple drop from NYC on TV. This time we going to my sister's & out to eat , movies then bring in the new year with her. It's looks like the kiddo enjoyed riding their new 🚲. It's exciting when you get a new one . We were supposed to have snow Christmas Eve but didn't get any. Just very cold. No snow for New Years and in the upper 40s. Yum that breakfast 😋 ! We will be having blackeyed peas pork chops and spinach. We don't care for collad greens. I remember my mother and grandmother fixing collard greens when growing up.

@@raquelweber3287 I'm doing pretty good, my back is bothering me. Aunt Flo has been very naughty since she showed up Christmas day.
I make my hot cocoa mix with dried milk powder, powdered sugar & Hershey’s cocoa(I’m from PA, pretty sure it’s a crime here if I don’t buy Hershey’s). I add a few scoops to my coffee when I drink it. I make it in an 1/2 gallon jar, then can add cream & chocolate chips when I cook it.

We’ve had snow once this year in PA & it was melted by the end of the day. We’re more likely to get snow in Jan-Feb but have had huge snow storms as late as April.
My son left to go back to Louisiana today. I always hate seeing him leave. He hopes to be back in the summer when he gets vactaion time from his job. He always helps me out a lot. I made Pioneer Woman's hot chocolate a couple years and gave some to my daughter. She said it is really good. Aww Manley will get the hang of riding his bike on his own. I have started taking decorations down and will work on the rest through next week and clean house. My son got me a brace that helps with sciatica nerve pain and it does help. It's by Be Active.
We get all excited over snow too. We don't get it every year so it's a treat. I can't believe it is almost 2024. 😊

In April of 2023 It snowed in Phoenix Arizona. When our kids come inside after the stay at their friends house they came inside telling me and their father it was snowing we went outside and saw the snow on the ground and stayed in the ground for three weeks my husband took his cellphone outside to start to video tape the snow coming down and our two dogs walking around and running and playing in the snow.
Love a good cup of hot cocoa. My daughter made us a cocoa bar very nice. We even had chocolate spoons that took it over the top. Love those pans too. We got snow a couple of days ago love watching snow fall. Good meal planning meals
It’s very cold here in Tennessee. 🥶 I have The Drew Barrymore Beautiful cookware and it’s great. I think you would love it. No scrubbing! Easy clean up!

Im so spoiled to non-stick. This is what we are having for New Year's Eve:
Veggie tray with Hidden Valley ranch dip, the one you add sour cream
Meatballs in bbq and apricot preserves
Shrimp cocktail
Pigs in a blanket
Cubed cheese,pepperoni and salami with variety of crackers
Chips & Dip
Mozzarella sticks with honey mustard
Potato skins making home made like the TGIF ones
Peanut butter fudge
Banana pudding
Orange sherbert with ginger ale, that's the way we have always made punch
That is alot of food but we make in small quantities since its only my husband and i and our 2 kids. By the time Sunday evening gets here, this list make shrink some. 😆 It sounds like alot of food! In our house its always too much, than not enough. God is so good and has blessed us so much. He has always provided our needs, and most of our wants. We have so much to thank Him for. I saw a lady in the grocery store and she was buying the things to make home made hot chocolate for her grandchildren when they came over and it was in powdered form she made with powdered milk, powdered cocoa and I am not sure what she added to sweeten it with and she kept it in a glass canning jar it really looked good. I am sure I could fiind it on youtube. My grandmaw made us hot chocolate on the stove top with milk and cocoa and sugar and it was so good we were so excited. Back in those day's you made your own because there were no instant packets like we have and her's was so much better. Looking forward to how you make yours.
