  • The Middle Part of Great Hayk of Artsakh our enemy represents under the name of Aghvank (Albania), and the Aghvans like the owners of the territory, who did not form such a united ethnos. And that the Azeris are the descendants of the Aghvans.
Located on the left bank of the Kura, Aghvank was a neighboring country for us, but Aghvans are not related to Armenians, their language belongs to the Caucasian language group.
The closest main branches of the Aghvans are the Lezgins and the Udis.
The Aghvans have always been allied with the Armenians.
The Udis converted to Christianity, were monophysite like the Armenians, preserving their Udi essence, and the Lezgins were Muslimized Udis.
The people of Artsakh were called "Aghvans" after the Armenian East or after Aghvank administrative unit, which became a cause of confusion.
The Udi ethnos was created in Aghvan , in its central and western parts, forming a separate kingdom, the king of which was of Armenian origin,Hamam Barepasht.
The latter was from the Bagratuni dynasty.
Archaeological-sourceological soil could be excavated and up to the Kura River, from the time of the formation of the Armenian ethnos and before that there lived Armenian-speaking tribes.
