Yesss I love the long videos. I go through the short ones to fast and I love hearing what's happening in other peoples lives
hey caiti!! i have some curling tips for you.. first of all to make it more comfortable curl the right side of your head with your left hand holding the iron barrel side pointed down and wrap the hair around with your right, this makes it easier to get the curl close to your head and it will fall off of the iron better.. if you’re scared of burning ur hand i would maybe try one of those gloves.. and for the left side do the same but opposite hands.. and the most important tip i have is to do the first curl away from your face, after the first curl you can keep them moving the direction or you can alternate towards and away from your face for a more voluminous head of curls!!

the right side “looks better” because it’s curled away from your face! meaning you curled it towards the back instead of towards the front like how the left side was
EDIT: when cutting your own flowers, go for ones that haven’t bloomed yet, and they’ll bloom while in the vase and last longer! there was an event in my town where you could make your own “bud vases”

i would 100% recommend getting a beachwaver. i know they are pricey, but i used to hate curling my hair cuz i was so bad at it and now it’s so easy. it went from taking almost an hour to literally 15 min

It's super helpful to hairspray before curling! Also when you curl the hair around the wand, make sure the actual chunk of hair lays flat and isn't rolling up. Like imagine it was a flat ribbon instead of a twisted rope. When it twists I think it's harder for all of the hair to get hot from the iron. I don't know if that made any sense at all, it's sm easier to describe with pictures or irl😩😩😩

when i curl my hair, i hold the wand downward and i try to spread out the strand of hair on the curling wand if that makes sense so it's not all touching each other so that the curls can be bigger i guess or more spread out. it works for me, i just thought i'd share if you want to try it!
