Engineers make sense, the capture ratio, although small at the start, increases with research, but also the more enemies you are fighting, the more equipment you get.
I actually wasn't able to make proper use of those engineers. I didn't really get into it yet, but every single spy in the world is stacked in Berlin throughout the entire duration of this video. None of my troops have any entrenchment or planning built up due to all the stacked intel networks. So I'm actually not 100% sure if getting those engineers was worth it. Eventually once we've pushed far enough outwards that our entrenchment isn't getting destroyed by all the intel networks then it should be, but by that time we might be strong enough to not need them anymore. They're probably still worth it. But they're definitely not as effective as I hoped they'd be.
I've never attempted an Endsieg playthrough. I did recently do a Seelow Heights playthrough as Japan though. It was pretty interesting. Might do a video on that.
You should see what the unedited footage looks like, lol. There is a very good reason all the gameplay is accelerated. I did miss a few clips, though, that still show the original framerate I experienced when playing. I'm not quite sure how I missed them.
I'm sure it is. Every time anyone has ever asked HOI4 players: "Is (insert particular scenario) even possible?" someone always does it. I would be very surprised if no one figures it out. I might even try it myself eventually.
You mean the other ports in occupied Denmark? Truthfully I don't know. For some reason they kept invading that same exact port in the West over and over again so that's where I put all my troops. If they had invaded those other islands, though, it wouldn't have posed too much of a problem. It would have temporarily cut off supply to Copenhagen, sure, but it wouldn't have taken long to kick them all back out.

Really enjoyed this video. You definitely earned yourself a new sub. Would be nice if you could also do a Endsieg 1945 playthrough!

is ragnarok even possible in the new version of the game?

Why doenst the AI attack other islands?

That's because of the Danish straits mechanic that blocks ships from traveling across if it's contested or enemy controlled
