Absolutely love ChromieCraft, best server I played on. Level Cap is 70, Rating x2 (basically double xp weekend all year long), cross-faction everything, Kara raid coming on september 21 (or somewhere therabouts) They have hardcore, ironman, and bloodthirsty challenges and a decent cosmetic cash shop. Tauri is also pretty cool. There's a countdown on their website now, which I believe is for their Legion server.
Nice Vid! Idk if you've heard of 5 man servers, but they're tuned for groups of 5 people. So... 5 man raids etc. This can offer a new kind of challenge with less logistics etc, and they can be pretty fun. I'd recommend TBC5Man personally. There Is a vanilla and wotlk version from other people as well.
Something of note....If you are not fond of PVP ( like myself, terrible at it) then Evermoon for MOP would be a choice over Mistblade which is PVP only. Have been watching short videos of the Tauri team working on Scripts for Legion, and as you say, it really is time consuming and complex. Like their Mop server they will not releaser it till its working nicely. Happy new year...
I came in to say that! I didn't even know Mistblade was pvp only until I registered and logged in to it. I afk too much in the open world for pvp servers to be enjoyable to me.

My experience with open world pvp is , you need to fight absolutely anyone you see of the opposite faction! That kind of game is just not for me, and you may notice most Wow private servers run Pvp realms more than pve, which in turn limits the places i can play!

Anyone who wants to play a new Alliance character on the Lordaeron (blizzlike) server that Warmane hosts, please hmu ingame! I'll give you gold and bags to help start you off. My main is a paladin named Bubbli :) I'm also happy to give gold and bags to new Horde players, but I don't play my hordies as much so just make an ally and again, whisper Bubbli (I think you have to reach level 5 or 10 to whisper?) and let me know you're wanting to roll horde -- I'll log my Horde char and do the exact same things for you. Warmane Icecrown can be super challenging for a new players, especially pug raids. People got very spoiled, so they will make like way more higher gear demand to join raid, than it should be. If anyone tries to make HC Icc25 or RS25, unless u are full BiS or close to Bis u probabably wont get invite, normal mode can be easily played with 5.2k gs, but unless u are 6k min u wont get inv as well, and so on for every raid... And i most find it funny when for naxx25 immortal run which is 3.5k gs raid, they make like 6,2k gs or more min demand... I mean its not like gear gonna help u if u sucks and dont know boss mechanic..
Yup, the way to go it’s make ur own pug as achi farm skipping Professor, if you manage Blood queen on 10N that achi will be enough since most pugs wipe and dissolve after 2 Professor wipes. Also keep an eye on “before reset icc 25n” most likely ending in deathbringer as someone’s gonna ninja the trinket but that 8 extra frosts.
Perhaps, but u gotta ask urself if u’re a 12y/o trapped in a 30ish y/o man body asking a group of people that have no obligation with u of any sort about making the perfect server for u to play, OR, u just have a normal life and chill about games and just have fun without giving them money nor rushing things - they’ve proved the characters are not going anywhere in a long time -. People can always go and pay blizzard a waaaaay worse company to play anyway, up to you.
+1 Its pretty nice , the only downside is that some stuff from earlier expansions arent functioning that good or at all. Altough , shadowlands stuff i woud say the ones that are in the game are functioning very well.
Nowadays, after playing in a few servers I'd recommend Everlook for a nice and smooth Vanilla experience, Ascension for a classless TBC experience with a lot of people and a good economy, and Warmane (being a player since it's Molten WoW days) for a nice blizzlike experience, for some of the best people I've met online I did during warmane days. One definitely should try AT LEAST these three. Nice content, as always HW. I hope everything goes well with you new endeavor. Stay safe, my dude!

I would love an update of this. Ive played on Whitemane, Warmane, and Circle WoW now. Whitemane was fun but the community is just not there, stacks of lichbloom sell for 200ish gold, just to much of a grind for that 4500 gold artisan flying. Warmane just wasnt there, as many people have complained that they think they POP is faked and i believe it to be true. As for Circle, well its a bunch of russian speaking folk. Nothing wrong with it just no communication what so ever unfortunately, which ultimately got me here in just 2 weeks time. Any good private servers out there that are english dominant? (EDIT)= LOOKING FOR A WRATH OF THE LICH KING SERVER.
There is a legion server called felsong. It will be released maybe next may or something. Also there is a new mop server from apollo maybe next Feb will be released
I would have to agree on Ascension, the quality is top notch, high population on the seasonal server but sadly the main server is meh mostly due to the extremely slow progression. Overall I would say a very good experience, good community, good fast acting devs, cash shop is vanity and qol, no gear.

Personally I play on Circle WoW (Wrath server) it's a Russian server but has a huge English community and I have been enjoying it on their 1x server. Population is around 3500-4500 on most days so it's quite active. The language barrier is the only problem sometimes but I managed to find a few Russian speaking friends who have been helping me out and I can even get into raids with a bit of translation in our English guild's Discord. I tried Warmane and didn't enjoy it
I kinda want to go back to wow, but I don't want to get too hooked like I know I will like usual. There are so many problems, the biggest one is the amount of alts I make and my indeciciveness of what I want to do.
sure, ascension looks cool as hell but it's a waste of time. i played there for over a year because i loved the idea of a classless server but as time went on i got tired of how unbalanced the game was. the random enchant system is terrible, it's p2w, shady asf and devs are either lazy or just don't give a damn about the average player

Sorry to tell you mate but I wouldn't go there at all. I visited cuz of Hamsters video during their TBC, was a part of the only guild that did raids and all the way into phase 1 of WOTLK and I can tell you that the owner of the server has changed and has become ignorant and foolish. It has some amazing stuff in it but sadly it has fallen in the wrong hands.

I have no new news about ReforgedCraft(Wrath, but there is only TBC quest content.) It's dev'd by one dude in Serbia, but it is in English. The idea of it is "Class+", you make a base class and can add spells and abilities from all other classes, except that overlapping spells and abilities cancel out. See my previous post, oddly I don't remember what the rates are except that profs are like 4X, which caused First Aid to glitch out(do not level FA). pop numbers are too low for raids. You're supposed to be able to solo the dungeon, maybe YOU can, I couldn't. Also RfC is custom. There's quest progression thing, but you don't have to follow it if you like a long game. Rfc - WARNING!!!! #1 the dev went political, #2 there's a custom boss past the room with the lava, that's shaped like a cross/X. That boss is a robot with a level 40 level boost book. Do not cast at all, especially heals. The mobs in the area will one-hit kill you, or just knock you through the wall into limbo. Sadly, the dev level-locked that dungeon. You can go in there any time before level 40. At least that's what the dev said. The kill reward will end up being mostly diablo-ized. or maybe not, as he keep changing what aint broken. Mounts are actually unnecessary as you can use the GM command "t" sans quotes to teleport, just about anywhere.

@@27Zangle u get an option. 1x ---- or1x + 30% if u are pvp enabled, its a quest glyph in the starting zone( twow is a pve sever) ---u can have 2x rested xp for if u use the tents( new survival proff) just ask ppl in the newcomers guild how you do it. Max xp is then 2x rested xp + 30% pvp glyph. Lots of new stuff and qs to do so dont be in a rush:) thats why its called turtle wow

Good video. Regarding Wall, I have known Wall since Darrowshire & have friends who have known him since Hyjal. From the very beginning it was a bad idea for WhiteKidney to have allowed Wall any role in the project. Wall is a script-kiddy programmer and has a history of pathological lying tagged on his back. He was dying from cancer? He was kidnapped by the government and forced to be a slave? The list goes on and on. Anyone telling you that Everlook is corrupt and that Wall is their hero has been swept up into the web of lies by the deceitful spider himself.
Too bad Revelation WoW failed. It seemed to be the most custom Wrath client ever made with completely redesigned zones and cities. I tried the server once and tried to explore that version of Stormwind, but it was running at 15 fps no matter what I did. Too bad because the redesigned city is was awesome
Everlook only has a high pop because it's the newest "fresh" experience. Almost all vanilla private servers hit a population crash after either a new vanilla server opens or AQ40 opens. I would say the best overall experience and true long lasting vanilla feel is Turtle WoW. There are always people leveling. The community is nice and open. There is tons of custom content with a new custom raid coming soon.
Not to mention they actually have constant patches coming out. It really is a vanilla + which is what blizzard should do after wotlk but more than likely wont

Its actually hard to believe that even with wotlk classic up Warmane is still super active. I logged in a few days ago and Dalaran is still packed with activity and people making raids.
Ever since classic servers came out, I have a personal problem with blizz-like private servers. Though I think modified servers are perfectly fine and the more interesting they are (like Ascension) the better.
More diverse does not translate into being improved. For Project Ascension, draft idea seemed promising and exciting - the experience told a different story. Games such as Grim Dawn or Path of Exile offer that same "broad, diverse and complex" character building systems, which players adopt as "a glimpse of hope for a ton of potential theorycrafting". But once those ideas are implemented and put into work - they boil down to the same old boring, repetitive and predictable patterns of gameplay that initially made people quit, right? There must be some information missing, either the players are not being honest in their feedback or they are as self-aware and exploitable as lab rats are. 😁
True but it also has to do with the fact that they themselves released a new MoP server called Stormforge collaborating with another team. Many of the players, as far as I know, left Tauri's Evermoon server to play there for the fresh mop experience.

Good video (apart from everlook) Shit server, stupid rules regarding accounts, crashes a lot and rolls you back a level/loses an item/makes you do the quests you've already done again. It's basically a Chinese server with a few Europeans and Americans thrown in the mix. Ganking on everlook is extreme (even for a private pvp server). Staff take ages to answer tickets and when they do they aren't really interested in the players. There's been a lot of drama with WK and some of the devs (other videos on here you can see if you wanna know more about that).
Depends on what you're planning. Icecrown is the most populated realm, there's always people online, bgs, rdfs and raids. It just has a lot of donors but high rates. A lot of pvp and ganking there thouch because its a pvp realm. Lordaeron is the least populated realm because it is blizzlike, x1 rates and no donors. While Frostmourne has the highest rates it is a seasonal server which just reached icc content. Once the season is over your characters will be forced to be transfered to Icecrown.
the pve dmg is really overtuned there you can go ham, so to solve this pvp dmg issue, they added flat dmg reduction and pvp modifiers attached all the spells in order to not one shot people the 1v1 exp is wanky since its a RPS situations coming on so their BG pvp and Crows cache pvp (open world pvp between guilds to conquer some chest with tons of loot) is really well made with alot of community involved and strats with positioning, cool stuff
It's crazy how WoW has souly been kept relevant by it's love from the player base. Even though the devs do things that make no sense at all and screw up the game and make it worse we all still have love for it and do what we can to keep the game alive.

The amount of flyhack/speedhack and multiboxers on Everlook was just out of this world man... For anyone thinking about warmane, don’t. It’s a horrible experience, they have zero support, no discord, horrible forums, and the addons are freakin awful. There is zero decent quest helpers, and the ones that kinda work don’t even show correctly on the world map. No one is helpful, and the pop is not what it seems.
i play Legion on UWoW, its pretty nice if you make some friends, but at max level if you dont want to do keys which are the main things to do here, you shouldnt play on this server
dont play on warmane (too many ninja players and ban is 3days only) and turtle (lag crap you can "fix" it but not worth it + its 2006 client interfeace is ...)
Kronos 4 is where you need to be! It is spot-on vanilla WoW server where you keep characters and no bots or gold spamming unlike Everlook! Kronos 4 could use some players
I played on Dal this year and can confirm alliance is 100% dead, as well as pvp. There is not enough population to get into BGs or even arena at all. Most of the time when I did WG there were 1-2 alliance players and that's it. On top of that the server, it's economy and player base are old, in that, there basically is no economy because everyone has everything, so if you need anything you have to get it manually yourself or get lucky like I did and have vet players there just literally hand me what would be *thousands* of gold worth of items. I regularly got free epic gems from random people, I also had the guild I was in craft me multiple epics and give me ICC BoEs. Guild banks stock full of primordial saronite and titansteel bars ect. And like I said it is basically mandatory to play horde there.
do not play warmane u never get decent raids because u never will find a good guild the most guilds raid only to sell the accounts the only thing what is a bit fun is pvp forget to play warmane if u a hardcore pve player
Playing tbc wow servers since 2007, checked out moonwell, and its full of bugs, but well x5 and RAF x10 rates always fun. Low population for first week since launch, 1000-2500~ at peak hours which is pretty low for fresh server. Everlook got healthy population but mehhh x1 rates, and vanilla lvling is just boring. Also Everlook full of chinese who cant speak / and type english. Everlook full of bots... Turtle wow 1+Year old, fresh realms are more fun ;d

Warmane is pretty buggy, and to this day they STILL have people abusing the OLD UI script for trade bugging.

I would love an update of this. Ive played on Whitemane, Warmane, and Circle WoW now. Whitemane was fun but the community is just not there, stacks of lichbloom sell for 200ish gold, just to much of a grind for that 4500 gold artisan flying. Warmane just wasnt there, as many people have complained that they think they POP is faked and i believe it to be true. As for Circle, well its a bunch of russian speaking folk. Nothing wrong with it just no communication what so ever unfortunately, which ultimately got me here in just 2 weeks time. Any good private servers out there that are english dominant? (EDIT)= LOOKING FOR A WRATH OF THE LICH KING SERVER.
There is a legion server called felsong.
It will be released maybe next may or something.
Also there is a new mop server from apollo maybe next Feb will be released

I would have to agree on Ascension, the quality is top notch, high population on the seasonal server but sadly the main server is meh mostly due to the extremely slow progression. Overall I would say a very good experience, good community, good fast acting devs, cash shop is vanity and qol, no gear.

@@PurplDrank Thrall is the seasonal server, it's about to start phase 3 soon which is TBC, at the end of Vanilla atm. A52 is the core slow progression server on TBC atm just released Mount Hyjal

Personally I play on Circle WoW (Wrath server) it's a Russian server but has a huge English community and I have been enjoying it on their 1x server.
Population is around 3500-4500 on most days so it's quite active. The language barrier is the only problem sometimes but I managed to find a few Russian speaking friends who have been helping me out and I can even get into raids with a bit of translation in our English guild's Discord.
I tried Warmane and didn't enjoy it
I kinda want to go back to wow, but I don't want to get too hooked like I know I will like usual. There are so many problems, the biggest one is the amount of alts I make and my indeciciveness of what I want to do.
Vouch for turtle, also ascension seems cool as hell too
sure, ascension looks cool as hell but it's a waste of time. i played there for over a year because i loved the idea of a classless server but as time went on i got tired of how unbalanced the game was. the random enchant system is terrible, it's p2w, shady asf and devs are either lazy or just don't give a damn about the average player

Sorry to tell you mate but I wouldn't go there at all. I visited cuz of Hamsters video during their TBC, was a part of the only guild that did raids and all the way into phase 1 of WOTLK and I can tell you that the owner of the server has changed and has become ignorant and foolish. It has some amazing stuff in it but sadly it has fallen in the wrong hands.

Feedback/suggestions are still taken into consideration and implemented IF they make sense.
Knowing you and your childish behaviour you'll once again try to come up with lies. It is time to grow up and move on. No sane person is that obsessed to harm a Server's reputation because he was "caught".

I have no new news about ReforgedCraft(Wrath, but there is only TBC quest content.) It's dev'd by one dude in Serbia, but it is in English. The idea of it is "Class+", you make a base class and can add spells and abilities from all other classes, except that overlapping spells and abilities cancel out. See my previous post, oddly I don't remember what the rates are except that profs are like 4X, which caused First Aid to glitch out(do not level FA). pop numbers are too low for raids. You're supposed to be able to solo the dungeon, maybe YOU can, I couldn't. Also RfC is custom. There's quest progression thing, but you don't have to follow it if you like a long game. Rfc - WARNING!!!! #1 the dev went political, #2 there's a custom boss past the room with the lava, that's shaped like a cross/X. That boss is a robot with a level 40 level boost book. Do not cast at all, especially heals. The mobs in the area will one-hit kill you, or just knock you through the wall into limbo. Sadly, the dev level-locked that dungeon. You can go in there any time before level 40. At least that's what the dev said. The kill reward will end up being mostly diablo-ized. or maybe not, as he keep changing what aint broken. Mounts are actually unnecessary as you can use the GM command "t" sans quotes to teleport, just about anywhere.

@@27Zangle u get an option. 1x ---- or1x + 30% if u are pvp enabled, its a quest glyph in the starting zone( twow is a pve sever) ---u can have 2x rested xp for if u use the tents( new survival proff) just ask ppl in the newcomers guild how you do it. Max xp is then 2x rested xp + 30% pvp glyph. Lots of new stuff and qs to do so dont be in a rush:) thats why its called turtle wow

Good video. Regarding Wall, I have known Wall since Darrowshire & have friends who have known him since Hyjal. From the very beginning it was a bad idea for WhiteKidney to have allowed Wall any role in the project. Wall is a script-kiddy programmer and has a history of pathological lying tagged on his back. He was dying from cancer? He was kidnapped by the government and forced to be a slave? The list goes on and on. Anyone telling you that Everlook is corrupt and that Wall is their hero has been swept up into the web of lies by the deceitful spider himself.

Too bad Revelation WoW failed. It seemed to be the most custom Wrath client ever made with completely redesigned zones and cities. I tried the server once and tried to explore that version of Stormwind, but it was running at 15 fps no matter what I did. Too bad because the redesigned city is was awesome

With the Wrath Classic WoW token added and the classic promise officially dead and broken, private servers could not be more relevant
Everlook only has a high pop because it's the newest "fresh" experience. Almost all vanilla private servers hit a population crash after either a new vanilla server opens or AQ40 opens. I would say the best overall experience and true long lasting vanilla feel is Turtle WoW. There are always people leveling. The community is nice and open. There is tons of custom content with a new custom raid coming soon.
Not to mention they actually have constant patches coming out. It really is a vanilla + which is what blizzard should do after wotlk but more than likely wont

Its actually hard to believe that even with wotlk classic up Warmane is still super active. I logged in a few days ago and Dalaran is still packed with activity and people making raids.

Ever since classic servers came out, I have a personal problem with blizz-like private servers. Though I think modified servers are perfectly fine and the more interesting they are (like Ascension) the better.
More diverse does not translate into being improved.
For Project Ascension, draft idea seemed promising and exciting - the experience told a different story. Games such as Grim Dawn or Path of Exile offer that same "broad, diverse and complex" character building systems, which players adopt as "a glimpse of hope for a ton of potential theorycrafting". But once those ideas are implemented and put into work - they boil down to the same old boring, repetitive and predictable patterns of gameplay that initially made people quit, right?
There must be some information missing, either the players are not being honest in their feedback or they are as self-aware and exploitable as lab rats are. 😁

True but it also has to do with the fact that they themselves released a new MoP server called Stormforge collaborating with another team. Many of the players, as far as I know, left Tauri's Evermoon server to play there for the fresh mop experience.

Good video (apart from everlook) Shit server, stupid rules regarding accounts, crashes a lot and rolls you back a level/loses an item/makes you do the quests you've already done again. It's basically a Chinese server with a few Europeans and Americans thrown in the mix. Ganking on everlook is extreme (even for a private pvp server). Staff take ages to answer tickets and when they do they aren't really interested in the players. There's been a lot of drama with WK and some of the devs (other videos on here you can see if you wanna know more about that).
what realm on warmane is better for new players?
I'd say Frostmourne because it's a seasonal realm, so after x amount of time it resets

Depends on what you're planning.
Icecrown is the most populated realm, there's always people online, bgs, rdfs and raids. It just has a lot of donors but high rates. A lot of pvp and ganking there thouch because its a pvp realm.
Lordaeron is the least populated realm because it is blizzlike, x1 rates and no donors.
While Frostmourne has the highest rates it is a seasonal server which just reached icc content. Once the season is over your characters will be forced to be transfered to Icecrown.

the pve dmg is really overtuned there you can go ham, so to solve this pvp dmg issue, they added flat dmg reduction and pvp modifiers attached all the spells in order to not one shot people the 1v1 exp is wanky since its a RPS situations coming on so their BG pvp and Crows cache pvp (open world pvp between guilds to conquer some chest with tons of loot) is really well made with alot of community involved and strats with positioning, cool stuff
Ascension is terrible. totally unbalanced + devs are lazy asf. don't waste ur time on that.

It's crazy how WoW has souly been kept relevant by it's love from the player base.
Even though the devs do things that make no sense at all and screw up the game and make it worse we all still have love for it and do what we can to keep the game alive.

After watching Everlook fail so hard.. I just don't have any confidence in us ever having a proper Vanilla server again like Light's Hope or Nostalrius.

For anyone thinking about warmane, don’t. It’s a horrible experience, they have zero support, no discord, horrible forums, and the addons are freakin awful. There is zero decent quest helpers, and the ones that kinda work don’t even show correctly on the world map. No one is helpful, and the pop is not what it seems.
i play Legion on UWoW, its pretty nice if you make some friends, but at max level if you dont want to do keys which are the main things to do here, you shouldnt play on this server

Kronos 4 is where you need to be! It is spot-on vanilla WoW server where you keep characters and no bots or gold spamming unlike Everlook!

What about Oribos(SL)or Dalaran(Wotlk)? Two big servers with good scripting.
I played on Dal this year and can confirm alliance is 100% dead, as well as pvp. There is not enough population to get into BGs or even arena at all. Most of the time when I did WG there were 1-2 alliance players and that's it. On top of that the server, it's economy and player base are old, in that, there basically is no economy because everyone has everything, so if you need anything you have to get it manually yourself or get lucky like I did and have vet players there just literally hand me what would be *thousands* of gold worth of items. I regularly got free epic gems from random people, I also had the guild I was in craft me multiple epics and give me ICC BoEs. Guild banks stock full of primordial saronite and titansteel bars ect. And like I said it is basically mandatory to play horde there.

Playing tbc wow servers since 2007, checked out moonwell, and its full of bugs, but well x5 and RAF x10 rates always fun. Low population for first week since launch, 1000-2500~ at peak hours which is pretty low for fresh server. Everlook got healthy population but mehhh x1 rates, and vanilla lvling is just boring. Also Everlook full of chinese who cant speak / and type english. Everlook full of bots... Turtle wow 1+Year old, fresh realms are more fun ;d
