Turkana's Well of Hope

For many years Turkana has been the face of drought and misery. Often associated with images of near skeletal figures of locals holding bowls begging for food. But fortune has been kind to Turkana lately with the discovery of, first oil, and now an underground lake whose water capacity is vast enough to sustain the entire country for over 70 years.
