I have a cassette of this classic ( Pipa on the road ) bought in the 1970's......at that time it was recorded Master Hung SLui was at her peak after returning to the motherland from HKong n her singing skills had further improved by leaps n bounds......Mdm Chui sang well, I would rate Mdm Chui YM at 75 marks and Teacher Bai at 70....somehow something is lacking in Teacher Bai's presentation...the depth,warmth n mellowness of an elderly person's voice .. maybe he would master it as he grows older.... Mdm Kok F Lui's voice is dragging ... all this while she has been overrated...she is not the most outstanding representative of the Hung clan genre of siñging even when at at her prime....by general consensus Ms Soh Chun Mui had the best singing skills representative of the Hung clan...

靜場唱木魚.到尾搭唔搭線.考唱工也❣️
為什么反線中板不起鑼鼓?差不多都是静場起唱.枝枝都是.听来似歌劇.多过似粤曲.除了第一首周愉寫表是高边鑼.其他都是静悄悄的出场静悄悄的起唱.感觉鑼鼓位的不重要.还有除了周愉每枝都有南音.唉!这是一組高水準之作.期望白老師再有演出.選曲也是重中之重.除此之外.感激所有老倌及唱家我值得点贊👍💯
